Perfect place for a long weekend with the family. Loved being right on the beach and being able to bring my pooch. Linens were very clean, place was clean, and Jen was responsive. Easy to find and the price was reasonable.

Staying at this Airbnb felt like a true escape. The location couldn't have been better – being mere steps from the beach was such a treat, allowing for spontaneous walks and the calming sound of the waves. It was wonderful to find such a genuinely dog-friendly place; my pups absolutely loved it, which made the stay even more enjoyable for me. The entire atmosphere was incredibly relaxing, and I found the off-season to be a particularly lovely time to visit, with beautiful weather and a sense of peacefulness. The property itself had everything I could possibly need, making it easy to settle in and feel comfortable. Amy was fantastic – always communicative and helpful, ensuring a smooth and easy stay. While there were plenty of options for things to do in the area, I also appreciated the opportunity to simply unwind and work remotely in such a serene setting. The upper deck was my favorite spot for getting sun many hours of the day. I’ve stayed in many airbnbs and this is a favorite!

We took our four adult kids to the beach for the weekend, and this place was just right! We used every balcony, got our exercise on the stairs, walked to the beach several times, cooked several meals and relaxed. We loved the views! The beds were comfortable, and everything was truly clean or else my family members with sensitive allergies would have been bothered. The dog next door was always contained, looked sweet, and only barked to say hi when we were coming and going. You may want to reference the tide charts online before taking your beach gear down or planning a walk. Most of the day and night are available for playing, walking, and hanging out on the beautiful beach, but because of erosion there are moments when there is more surf than sand. It's a lovely, comfortable, family-oriented place!

The house was beautiful and had everything we needed for comfort. We used every deck! Super close to the beach, beautiful peaceful view of the sound. It had everything we could possibly need. Karen sent recommendations for food and they did not disappoint! Loved our stay!

This place was exactly as listed. The access to the beach made it so easy. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and will definitely return.

Will visit again! The location can’t get any better if you want to be right on the beach when you open the backdoor.

A true phenomenal first experience with ABnB and Unit D at Surf City. Jeffrey and his team were so great in seeing that we had all we needed or if there was anything they could help with. The unit as mentioned before is on the smaller side, it was perfect for my wife and I and my service dog Lark. The kitchen, while no appliances other than a small refrigerator, microwave and toaster, was very satisfactory. Also, bathroom was quite nice with a large tiled shower. A sound machine was a nice touch and helped with sleep. Location is just steps away from the ocean, with a wonderful pavilion to relax while enjoy the waves of the ocean. We would return without question.

Great home with owners that cater to their guests. All the amenities were provided including s’mores over the fire pit. So many thoughtful items provided or available. We felt they wanted us to enjoy our stay. House provides room, comfort, quiet and fun. Great trip and loved our stay.

We had a fantastic stay at Erin and Jeremy's place over Easter weekend. Everything was as described and Erin and Jeremy were very responsive when we did have an issue (needed to restart the router for the internet). More over, either they themselves are very honorable or their cleaners are, because less than two hours after we'd left I received a text from Jeremy asking if we had left some valuable jewelry in one of the bathrooms. One of our guests had, and they were able to quickly make arrangements with Jeremy to have them shipped to their house. It shouldn't dissuade you from booking, but it is worth mentioning that the shared deck on the main floor is very much shared. The partition doesn't extend very far out so you'll likely get very familiar with the renters next to you. Not a big deal for us, but something to consider. Beach access is quick and easy. Well-stocked kitchen. Overall, we had an excellent visit and would definitely recommend this place for any Topsail renters!

The home was beautiful. It had everything we were looking for and more. Tyler, our host gave us everything we needed and more. He made our arrival very smooth. He answered every question in record time. The home was spacious and accommodated our family of 16 comfortably. The home was equipped with everything we needed and more. The elevator in the home allowed for our elderly parents to easily navigate the home and our outings. The access to restaurants, grocery stores, gas, beaches and the pier made it feel like home. I would recommend this home to anyone looking to stay in the Surf City area. It was definitely 5 stars 🌟.

Great place and fantastic location. End unit on a townhouse with a shared pool and public beach access, but still felt private and you're on the beach in seconds...you couldn't get any closer! The deck with view was absolutely stunning and perfect of you enjoy people watching :) The host was very responsive and helpful; I particularly liked the list of local eats/activities (I would have underlined Shaka Taco if I had a piece of chalk!). Definitely recommend!

Wow! Smriti's home is amazing! We enjoyed it all. From beginning to end, it was sad to leave. We definitely plan on returning for a full week! The home was exactly as described. The beds were all comfortable, the hot tub & swimming pool were a hit! Kids & adults enjoyed ot to the max. The decks overlooking the ocean was priceless & we even got to see some dolphins. The place exceeding our expectations. It was easy to get into when we checked in. We had five adults and two children (ages 2 and 6) in our family. My 80 year old mother was with as well. The elevator was a life saver for her. The layout allowed the parents and children to have the entire 2nd floor to themselves. Great grandma also stayed on the 2nd floor as there were 3 bedrooms and two full bathrooms on this floor. The 4th floor was a great place to hang out, play games, and put a huge puzzle together. It also had an amazing sleep space, although we did not need it. The full bathroom on this floor was also much appreciated. The kitchen was amazing, having everything we needed to cook and enjoy meals together throughout the week. The beach was very close (3 min walk) on a nice boarded walk way with no traffic or worries as we walked with little ones daily. The pool was very close as well and made a great alternative when kids tired of the beach. Highly recommend!

Amazing stay we came for my son birthday and had an amazing time at the beach and a beautiful home right near the beach, only downside the pool was closed but other than that everything was perfect.

What a treat to say at Alyssa's Airbnb! It was the perfect spot for our two nights in Topsail - we enjoyed sitting on the back deck overlooking the marsh before dinner and the massive comfy couch after dinner! She provided everything we needed to be comfortable and so that we didn't have to worry about the little things while we were there. The location was perfect for our needs for this trip. We had a fantastic stay at Michelle & Mark’s place. The location right on the beach is lovely and a wonderful place for a family vacation. The bunk bed room for our grandchildren worked very well! Michelle & Mark responded to our questions and were so helpful and accommodating. We would definitely love to return again!!

Denise is a very thoughtful host and made sure we had a wonderful stay (including our dogs). The house was everything we expected it to be from the pictures. We had everything we needed to feel like we were home. Its location right in front of the ocean was awesome. I felt like I was right at home! I didn’t have to take tons of time to get familiar with things because of the labeling. It might seem simple but made the best experience. Light switches, beach towels, pots and pans. Everything labeled so I could go straight to what I needed. The private beach entrance and easily accessible beach accessories made beach day so much fun. We will definitely be back to Carolina Castaway!

A beautiful and peaceful place to stay. Very spacious and comfy for a large group. Steps from the ocean. Jeremiah was very accommodating and responsive.

Sea Stilts is a very nice oceanfront, single level, 3-Bedroom beach house in a quiet neighborhood. I think of it as a bungalow. Walk off the back porch down the steps and you are on the beach. We have stayed there twice now, in mid April and now early May. There were not a lot of people on the beach. That may change some during the summer months, but even if all the adjacent houses were fully occupied I don’t think the beach would be crowded. The back porch has 6 composite “LL Bean” type high chairs with cup holders so you can sit out there and enjoy the unobstructed ocean view. When we arrived (easy entry via digital combination lock), the place was clean and neat. We never ran out of hot water (there were 2 of us), and there is a nice stacking washer/dryer so you can do your laundry. We would definitely stay there again!

We loved our stay here! Andy was responsive and friendly. The house is exactly as pictured and only steps from the beach. You can hear the waves from the porch. House was clean and had everything we needed to make dinner/lunch. Would highly recommend booking this stay, we will be back!

Loved this week and Samantha was very responsive to our questions throughout the week. We loved how close to the beach we were and how quiet our surroundings were all week even being in a townhouse with neighbors on both sides. Lots of amenities from beach gear to bathroom hand soap to kitchen needs.

What can I say about this visit?! We had to cut our visit short because of Tropical Storm Debby but Alex was so responsive and helpful we could not ask for a better host. This is our second year and love the area. House has everything for great beach days including bikes! You do not need to bring anything for the beach. The house is homey and stocked with kitchen items and plenty of towels and linens. We will be back.
