Welcome to the Treehouse! No, it's not actually a house in a tree, but you get to enjoy the completely remodeled home thanks to the tree that fell through it! Need a place to relax for a few days? Maybe coming to visit friends/family but don’t want TOO much quality time with your loved ones? Come slip away to this cozy, beautifully remodeled home away from home. Minutes from local bakeries, favorite eateries, Centenary and LSUS and Barksdale Air Force Base. This 1946 home has been completely updated with your comfort in mind. The Blue House on Cross Lake

This cottage was built circa 1926 on Cross Lake as the home for Lonnie Erwin who owned a catfish restaurant next to his home. Back in the day it was popular to drive up from Shreveport if they caught enough catfish to serve. The restaurant closed in the mid 1940s and it and the cottage fell into disrepair. We renovated the cottage and restaurant (also on Airbnb as The Red House on Cross Lake) and brought them up to date.
