This is a large property in Saiq, Jebel Al Akhdar providing private accommodation in this very special village in the mountains. We were very well looked-after by Muntaser who showed us around the stunning landscape and local villages including Al Aqor, Wadi Bani Habib and Al Suwgra (now an exclusive boutique hotel clinging to the mountainside where your baggage has to be transported via zipwire across the valley). He kindly drove our car from place to place so that we could do as little or as much exploring on foot as we wished. His experience of driving on the insanely steep off-road tracks was invaluable - despite the Nissan Patrol being a very capable 4x4, I would have been too nervous to do this myself! The most special treat was being invited for قهوة (coffee) which was a great honour appreciated by the whole family. Thank you Saif!

We had a fantastic time during our stay at Ali's house. Ali is a wonderful host! He makes sure you feel comfortable and provides all the relevant information you need. The house is equipped with everything important, is quiet, spacious, and the beds are great for sleeping (a bit firmer than usual, but excellent). From the house, it's a quick trip to the Balcony Walk as well as to Hamra—perfectly located. But the best part was that Ali spontaneously invited us to a traditional event, which made us incredibly happy and will always stay in our memories! Highly recommended!

We stayed in Mohammed's house for four nights. The house is very spacious and beautifully furnished. It has 3 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. The house is surrounded by a garden with plants and meadow (a small oasis). The kitchen is fully equipped. There are spices, oil and many other little things that you need for cooking. Mohammed welcomed us personally. He got us fresh fish and prepared it together with us. He showed us the most beautiful beaches, places to watch turtles and a beautiful spot for the sunset. Mohammed is a very helpful and courteous host and wants to offer guests a perfect stay. Thank you very much for the wonderful time in your house.

Nous recommandons la maison de Salim, idéalement placée pour toutes les visites majeures d'Oman. Très spacieuse elle dispose de tous les équipements utiles dont ceux pour s'amuser en famille. Disposer d'une voiture est nécessaire pourr en profiter au mieux. Salim est un hôte bienveillant qui nous a donné beaucoup de conseils utiles lors de notre séjour. Merci encore.

Had a great time at the blue gate. The apartment is just a few steps from the sea. It's quiet and private, communications with Aleksi and his staff were easy. We arrived very late at night and had no trouble finding it and getting in. The apartment is in a cozy and well maintained village/ neighborhood. It is a bit outside the city but well connected by the highway if you have a car. A great location.

beautiful villa in a peaceful and gated community. Abdulla was very helpful and provided support 24/7 when needed the villa is beautiful, spacious and well kept. I am glad there was a room downstairs for my mother because she hates stairs We rented the villa in Jan and we were attending a wedding, so we didn't get to 'enjoy' the villa. which is why we are aiming to revisit again soon! the windows could use tints to offer some sort of privacy, we had to keep the curtains down most of the time there were insects which is expected during this time of year in the gulf, so you need to take note of that when booking everything was available in the villa and we didn't have to go looking for stuff and Abdulla responded to any inquiries we can't wait for our next visit (mom's orders!)

Our stay was home away from home. Super helpful host, checking and WiFi details provided as promised during booking. We informed host that we would arrive late at night and host was waiting. Place is super clean and spotless, heated swimming pool which was great, big spacious area outside and inside was exactly as advertised. Easy to get to every where, yet secluded and very private which was exactly what we were looking for. We will be staying here again and would recommend to all our friends and family.

Staying at this villa is an amazing experience. The villa itself is luxurious, elegant, clean, spacious, and a work of art. It is exquisite on any level. It is near the highway yet away from it to provide peace and quiet. The villa has everything you can imagine or will need. The furniture is beyond elegant, rich, and comfortable, and the service you will get there is more than excellent. You will get royal treatment and feel very pampered. Your stay will be super comfortable, relaxing, enjoyable and luxurious. There are no words or photos that can do justice to this villa. I fell in love with it and hope I will get the chance to stay there again. So, I urge everyone who might be the slightest interest to stay there to please try it. You will have a wonderful experience. I guarantee it.

I feel so blessed to have had this wonderful experience at this vacation home. The scenery was breathtaking, and you’ll even notice something about the air is different out here. It’s in a great location, but a 4x4 vehicle is a must—we learned the hard way when our SUV wasn’t approved to come up . It’s difficult to find taxis the walks weren’t bad at all, about 15 mins to restaurants and shops. This stay was the perfect escape from the busyness of Muscat. The home was immaculate, with beautiful outdoor seating areas to enjoy nature. I even spotted a shooting star!! The sky is so beautiful at night. Overall, it was an incredible experience and I’d return in a heartbeat!
