Excellent location, within walking distance to most of the attractions in Matsumoto. The house is located in a peaceful and beautiful environment. Many restaurants nearby. The host is friendly and helpful.

Great hosts and nice cozy chalet tucked away not too far from Akakura onsen and ski resort. There was a chalet manager, Mogi-san who spoke perfect fluent English (I think he’s probably American born and raised) - extremely helpful and responsive. We have all our needs attended to in a timely and effective manner - from requesting additional clothes hangers, to car emergency (snow/ice on road), Mogi-san was there for us through it all. The home is a good size for 10 (perhaps up to 12 people), with an extra dry room for your skiing/snowboarding gears, a pretty well equipped kitchen, large table for 10 people to sit around, and a cozy living room. Room downstairs is a tatami room whereas 4 room upstairs are standard big sized rooms with view out of every room.

The place was fantastic. I was so happy with the place, it was just like the pictures and better. The location was fantastic and my group and I really enjoyed our stay. I would recommend this place and I would stay here again.

Peaceful and tranquil location. Not much within walking distance, so a car is a must. The house was nicely furnished with a full kitchen. As described, the second bedroom is tatami with futons. Our kids did fine, but may not be ideal for adults. Host was very responsive and we enjoyed the stay.

The house is very well kept, has 4 rooms that are clean and many amenities that we enjoyed. Owner was very responsive and helpful. Amazing house!

le "chalet" était super grand et confortable. l'emplacement est parfait à 5 minutes des restaurants. je suggère d'avoir des voitures pour mieux profiter de toute la vallée. les employés étaient très gentil. le check-in et check-out ont été super simple. les lits ne sont pas les plus confortable mais nous avons trouver des petits matelas à mettre par dessus et c'était parfait. je recommande ce logement pour des groupes d'amis, 2 grande douche et une multitude de toilette font que personne n'attend après personne

とてもきれいな室内、周辺の商業施設等にも近く快適に過ごせました。 個人的には、徒歩10分ぐらいにある富士の湯という銭湯がよかったです。 昔ながらの銭湯で旅の疲れが取れました。

We only stayed one night but liked the place very much. It’s fun and original, yet comfortable and functional. We enjoyed the fireplace after a chilly day. One stand-out feature is the high tech and well designed equipment & furniture

The apartment is perfectly clean & comfy and located about 50 metres from the closest chair lift. The lounge room & bedroom have huge windows looking out over the ski fields so you can sit in the warmth & watch the action before and after getting out there yourself. Iwatake is a great area to ski at with a brand new fast gondola and plenty of chair lifts. The host Daniel & his staff are really friendly and helpful so we really loved staying here & highly recommend to do so too if you get the chance! It’s the kind of place you don’t want to leave!!

We stayed in apartment C1 for 10 days. It was comfortable and had plenty of room. Kitchen was clean and good And everything in the apartment worked perfectly We had a car which made things easier as it’s almost impossible to get a cab anywhere

We were so impressed with Peter & Shiho’s hospitality and their incredible accommodation. They put us in touch with both the best ski rental company and ski school which made our stay so seamless and fun for the kids. Apartment B was such a warm and pleasant spot for our family of four - not to mention the amazing views! We will definitely be back as soon as we possibly can.

当日の午後に炭起こしと焚き火の準備を全部していただき大変助かりました。 部屋も広く綺麗で窓からの景色は写真よりもすごかったです。 周りも静かで非常に快適な時間を過ごせました。

とても綺麗な宿でした。 窓からの景色もよく、落ち着いた雰囲気でした。 ただ、チェックイン時にオーナーが不在で、従業員に聞いてもちょっと待ってと言って、暇そうにしていました。 チェックインまで30分ほど待たされたのが、少し残念なポイントです。

Dan is an excellent host and the place is as advertised. They went above and beyond for our stay by helping us with various things that enhanced our experience. Highly recommended!

Takeo was very accommodating and pleasant to communicate with. We spent three months in his house and it was worth every cent. Location was also fantastic.

Great place in the mountains between Takayama and Matsumoto City. Looking for a private remote place this is prefect. Your surround by a lot of outdoors and friendly people. Lovely place!!!

The Alps Chalet is in a great location. It provides a beautiful view of the forest and is a short drive or walk to some great bars and restaurants. Highly recommend this spot!
