Grasvlakte Safari Farmstay

An old fashioned farm style getaway in the Kalahari. Our self catering farm house has 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. We have a kitchen and a braai lapa where you can prepare food. There is no cellphone reception and gravel roads. We offer safari rides (Antelope: eland, kudu, blesbuck, springbuck, white springbuck, blue wildebeest, impala, oryx, steenbuck, duiker,etc.) and a sunset drive to our lookout point. Birdwatching is also popular in our area with Witsand Nature Reserve (4x4) only 50 km away.

Situated in close proximity to Postmasburg, guests will have access to the normal amenities found in a rural town. The area is also rich in agriculture activities like game and livestock farming and is also well known for the mining of iron and manganese ore. Due to the location, guests will experience the peace and quiet of the countryside and the relaxing atmosphere, amidst the Kalahari Bushveld, makes it an ideal location to switch off from your daily routine.

Private luxurious flatlet attached to our home. It is equipped with a queen bed, kitchenette, and air conditioning. The kitchenette has full sets of crockery, cutlery, kettle, toaster, induction cooker, microwave, air fryer and a concealed bar fridge. The bathroom has a huge spa-like shower and a soft close toilet suite. Free wifi and free access to Netflix, Prime Video and Showmax. Guests can login to their own DSTV account.

Relax and unwind with the whole family at this peaceful open plan newly remodeled house on a kalahari farm. It is situated just a hour's drive from the nearest big town (Upington), 55km outside of Olifantshoek towards Upington. Also perfect to sleep over on your way to Namibia or Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park from Gauteng's/Northwest direction. Enjoy an outside braai on the large patio with an amazing view.

Kalahari Corner is situated in a very peaceful area, it is less than 1 km away from Kuruman square, with all the basic shops. It is a small piece of the Kalahari, well equipped for a comfortable stay and evening braai with beautiful sunsets. Perfect for a quick getaway! RustHuis Accommodation caters for families, corporate- and leisure travellers by providing comfortable self-catering accommodation, located in Kathu. There are 2 bedrooms one with three-quarter and one with Double-size bed. The Flat has a fully equipped kitchen and a TV with DStv access. It has it own private entrance and braai.
