Hotel Alternative, near airport/Seahurst beach A/C

We have had so much fun providing a wonderful place to stay for our guests visiting Seattle. We have traveled often and are always looking for an affordable yet perfect place to stay. Our apartment offers all the comforts of home during your travels. Please enjoy our above garage apartment. You will find everything you need for your stay in Seattle. We are 5 minutes from the airport in Burien and walking distance from Old Burien where you will find great restaurants and shopping. We are close to Seahurst beach if you want to walk on the beach and enjoy a sunset. We are about 15 min driving distance from downtown Seattle. You have your own outside entrance and a private parking space in the backyard. Inside you will find a full bath and full kitchen, for those who love to cook. There is a Trader Joes not far for fun food without all the work. We will have coffee and basic pantry needs. Just stop for groceries if you would like to prepare your own favorite recipes. Lightly furnished, towels and bedding are provided. The mattress is extremely comfortable with wonderful bedding. Wi Fi is available and there is full cable. We are happy to take any reservations last minute. Please let us know if you need an early check in or a late check out. Bedroom has two queen beds, TV, and large desk. Located 8 minutes from downtown Gig Harbor waterfront, shopping, dining, YMCA, St. Anthony Hospital and Hwy 16. Walk the waterfront or one of many local trails. Recreation: kayak, canoe and SUP rentals, sail boat and gondola tours. Horseshoe Lake public beach and Kopachuck State Park.

Chesnut Cottage - writers retreat @ Harper's Hill

The Chesnut Cottage is the perfect quaint romantic getaway or rustic writer's retreat. One of three AirB&B listings on our 10-acre property atop Harper's Hill, it is surrounded by woods and a short walk up from the Puget Sound where you can fish from Harper pier or kayak over to Blake Island. The Southworth ferry terminal is just over a mile away providing direct access to both Seattle and Vashon Island. Harper is the perfect base camp for exploring the beautiful Kitsap and Olympic Peninsulas.

The Creamery

Nestled between the barn and the milking parlor is The Creamery; a relaxing spot to spend a few days far from the rigors of the city. Here we made Dinah's Cheese for years, and now you can enjoy the sunrise from the comfort of your plush bed, warmed by the thick down comforter. The French Limousin cows may come up to your bedroom window, curious as to who is sharing the pastures this morning. The quiet will be startling, with little noise but coffee brewing in the kitchen.

Bright, Garden View "Guest House" at Ferngully

Full garden views, bright and modern secluded "guest house" 5 minutes off the highway and 10 minutes from the ferry in western Bremerton. The space is a standalone unit detached from our main house tucked off the main street, nestled amongst the cedars and firs along Mud Bay connecting to Puget Sound. The room has a full 270 degree view on the gardens and trees, queen size murphy bed, fridge, sink, microwave, wood stove and bathroom, complete with 16" outdoor rain shower.
