Walk the waterfront or one of many local trails. Recreation: kayak, canoe and SUP rentals, sail boat and gondola tours. Horseshoe Lake public beach and Kopachuck State Park.

Olalla Bay Getaway is at the waters edge, just 45 minutes from Seattle via ferry or 10 minutes to Gig Harbor. The ever-changing views of the occasional seals, otters, porpoises, and eagles. The sound of waves and birds makes the perfect soundtrack for your getaway. Enjoy relaxing on a sun filled deck or check out the porch swing-perfect for a good book, glass of wine or a nap after your days adventure. Included in your stay are: kayaks, paddle board wood fire pit & propane fire table.

Olalla Bay Cottage - Beach - Like Being on a Boat

Olalla Bay Cottage. Low bank waterfront, this home is a true getaway. Easy drive; no ferries to deal with! Very quiet and private. Being so close to the water and most rooms have a water view. Fish from the deck! Watch the sunrise, eagles, seals and passing ships from the 600 sq. ft. deck. 3 bedrooms (a queen bed in each) and 2 baths. Wifi is strong and it's all on one level. Cook your steaks on the gas BBQ. We have a living room fireplace too. (Duraflame logs only, please.)

Secret Garden Villa - Harbor View - 1.5 Bedrooms

Located steps away from historic downtown Gig Harbor, this home provides everything you need while surrounded by peaceful gardens. Each room has a view of the gardens, which are extensive and fully enclosed - including two small bridges, a pond, and cascading waterfall. From the garden villa you can walk to several eateries, bars, cafes, and activities! During the summer months, the trolley picks up just one block away. The kayaks rental shop is about a 7 minute walk down the hill.

Dragon Wheels Farm Stay

Come enjoy our beautiful farm in this unique tiny home stay attached to farm buildings. Although small, you will enjoy a private home with full kitchen and new private bath, complete with composting toilet and heated tile. Step outside to pond with free range ducks and geese, always ready to greet you. Your own tiny patio area right next to the goat barn with bistro set overlooks a field home to our dairy goat herd. Enjoy the evening sounds of crichets and roosters as you wake. Enjoy!

The Creamery

Nestled between the barn and the milking parlor is The Creamery; a relaxing spot to spend a few days far from the rigors of the city. Here we made Dinah's Cheese for years, and now you can enjoy the sunrise from the comfort of your plush bed, warmed by the thick down comforter. The French Limousin cows may come up to your bedroom window, curious as to who is sharing the pastures this morning. The quiet will be startling, with little noise but coffee brewing in the kitchen.

Tarnside Chalet on hillside family farm

A pastoral getaway in a custom-crafted mini lodge on our family farm on the Pacific Northwest Peninsula. Washington State Ferry from Seattle to beautiful Kitsap Peninsula. The Red House Farm overlooks the Olalla Valley, where eagles soar and spectacular sunsets paint the sky over the ridge. Tarnside Cottage sleeps 4, in 1 double and 2 memory-foam twin-size beds in a loft above; equipped with hot pot, and 1 ET toilet (odorless, enviro-friendly); hot shower, refrig, hot plate.

Secluded Serenity Cottage

Your journey to serenity is a lovely 5-to-8-minute walk down a historic hillside to the secluded community of Sunrise Beach. Walking down the private driveway you may see a family of deer on your left when you pass the Historical Marker. As you walk past the houses and cabins on the waterfront, you might be reminded of Silverstein’s charming “Where the Sidewalk Ends.” The reward for your journey will be the treasure waiting for you at “the prettiest cottage on the beach.”
