Nestle Cottage is a beautiful cottage bordered by a trout stream located in a wonderful retreat-like setting in Boone. It is within 5 minutes of all the restaurants and Appalachian State University. Our cottage offers 2 bedrooms with new custom built barn wood furniture, 2 full bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with gourmet coffee bar, a cozy living room with gas log fireplace, a basement with laundry area, game room and cozy den area with electric fireplace and television. The Getaway in Bourbon Country with Breakfast

Located in the heart of the Bourbon Trail. Come and enjoy the peace and quiet of country living, but still close enough to cities. When you first arrive, you will find the entrance on a large, covered patio. There is a gas grill there for your use. We also have a fire pit, so bring wood. Feel free to take a walk down to the river at the bottom of our property. There you will find a park like setting where you can relax and listen to nature if you like. Eggs, bacon and biscuits provided.

The Magical Cabin on Back Creek

Magic is the word most people use when they visit this hidden gem. Built in 1939 as a fishing cabin by a gentleman who incorporated box cars as rafters and beams, dates still visible since removing the attic. By far the best place I've ever lived. I decided to share it with others who love to explore, who love listening to the voice of the creek or who come just to sit on the porch high above the creek with a spouse, friend, family, or alone. The bathroom is between the bedrooms and includes a Toto washlet bidet and EO toiletries.
