Enjoy the peace and quiet of the country with all the conveniences of the city just 10 minutes away! This beautiful home is located on a full acre in a quiet country subdivision. Includes shared use of the playground, fire pit, grill, patio, and even a few chickens! Our (shrinking) family lives on the main floors and you will stay in the 1500 square foot daylight basement apartment with separate entrance. You will have complete privacy, but also the peace of mind knowing the owners are nearby.

Our studio apartment offers a unique space with a private entrance within a five to twenty minute drive of various outdoor activities. Additionally, just down the street you'll find the charming historic railroad downtown Ogden area with local restaurants, shops and museums. Explore junction city, adventure in the mountains and then come home to a comfortable studio suite to enjoy a bit of down time cooking, reading and relaxing.

Doxey Home

Come stay in our cozy basement unit! We re did the bedrooms in July 2025! We are just up the road from Historic Downtown Ogden, only 5 min from iFly Utah, 5 min from Weber State University, 15 min from Hill Air Force Base and the Northrop facilities. Close to many hiking and biking trails, as well as lakes and reservoirs. If you love skiing as much as we do you can get to 12 ski resorts in under 1.5 hours with the closest being only 30 min away. You’ll have a private entrance to the downstairs

The Rec Room. Hot Tub + Epic Game Room

The Rec Room is a private 2 bedroom North Ogden getaway with a huge game room, hot tub, mountain views & full kitchen. Enjoy pool, ping pong, foosball, air hockey, skee-ball, arcade, pinball, basketball & big screen for movies/Nintendo. Sleeps 6 comfortably; 2 more can use air mattresses. We live upstairs, but the rental is private. 1.6 miles to shopping/restaurants, 7 miles to downtown Ogden. Near skiing, Pineview Reservoir & North Ogden Divide. Family-friendly. No parties, drugs or animals.

Roomy Orchard Suite-short & extended stays

This is a suite inside our home with a private entrance, spacious bedroom, reading nook, bathroom, huge closet, and “kitchenette” set-up. Stylish, private, spacious, and peaceful. Soothing colors, so comfortable, and lots of extras. Our “mini farm” is located on over an acre in a quiet bedroom community. Beautiful views of our small orchard, garden, and the mountains. Easy access to downtown, trails, reservoirs, etc. More than enough space inside the suite, and a lovely outdoor dining space.

Our bungalow sits at the base of the mountains, yet close to downtown restaurants and shopping. You have access to 3 ski resorts within a 30 minute drive. In the summer we are half a mile away from 2 trailheads and endless miles of mountain bike or hiking trails. For water sports we have a reservoir and two rivers that offer kayaking, fishing, tubing, or swimming within a 20 min drive.
