Craobh Mòr (Kroove More) Wee Bothy in Balquhidder

Stay amongst the Scottish hills and lochs in The Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. Our private, no pets, one bedroom bothy is a cosy haven settled in Balquhidder Glen. Enjoy the wildlife as Deer, Red Squirrel, Pheasants and wild Rabbits will be your neighbours. Climb the many mountains in the area, some within walking distance of our front door or explore the local walks. Visit the grave of Rob Roy MacGregor or curl up infront of our woodburning stove with some hot cocoa and a good book.

The lodge is open plan with plenty of space and has its own private driveway, front door, living area, fully fitted kitchen and shower room. Tea and coffee is supplied for your comfort. Take advantage of the decking area, experience 360 degree peaceful views of Dun Leacainn and surrounding hills while watching the wildlife and capture great memories. On a clear evening the stars fill the sky. The walks directly around the lodge are full of history and stunning views including a waterfall.

Arrochar Annex: amazing views, 1 hr from Glasgow

This self contained modern Annex is situated in the picturesque village of Arrochar, on the banks of Loch Long, with stunning views of the "Cobbler" amidst the Arrochar Alps. It is an ideal base for walkers, cyclists, swimmers, kayakers & those wishing to experience the Scottish Highlands, within easy reach of Glasgow & Stirling. The mature gardens have extensive bird life, with red squirrels and deer visitors. The village has good train and bus connections and a few lovely old local pubs.

Alba, Strathyre’s first glamping pod

Set in Loch Lomond National Park, we are delighted to offer our new glamping pod, equipped with all the necessities to enjoy your stay. Our Pod is provided with bedding, towels, cooking and eating facilities as well as an ensuite bathroom. The pod contains a small double bed with 3 seater sofa bed which is ideal for 2 adults alone. Our Pod contains a storage area for drying of muddy boots and outdoor clothing. Best of all the pod is a 2 minute walk from the main street.

It is ideally located for visiting the historic slate quarry, golf course, grocery store and bar/restaurant which are just a short walk away. It is one mile from Glencoe Village with Fort William nearby.

The cabin is double glazed and heated by electric heaters welcoming whatever the Scottish weather brings. Situated perfectly to enjoy the beautiful views of Loch Linnhe and Ben Nevis. Shore View is an ideal base for exploring the Scottish Highlands.

A lovely stone Annex, attached to the family home, in peaceful rural setting of 7 acres. Close to the sea with mountain views, it is the perfect place to start exploring Argyll's secret coast. The Annex has its own entrance, a double bedroom with ensuite, a twin room with a shower, family bathroom and a kitchen/lounge with a sofa bed.
