Private, spacious self-contained guest suite with own entry, on a quiet street in Oamaru. You will have your own kitchen and bathroom as well as a washing machine, dishwasher, queen-size bed and free wifi.. Everything you need for a comfy stay to enjoy our picturesque town. On sunny days you can sit out on the deck chairs with your preferred drink or down on the bench in the small garden. If you are here in the summer you will be able to pick some strawberries - we planted them for our guests!

Go surfing, or take a stroll along Campbells bay on the golden sand. Close to Historical Oamaru with lovely cafes, restaurants and the Little Blue Penguins. Explore the lakes district, Moeraki or Dunedin .Riverstone Castle is also worth a visit. Could be a lovely relaxing stay after your alps to ocean cycle trip.

Paua Cabin Kakanui

Look no further for an affordable escape to the coast than this comfortable unit in Kakanui. This cosy one bedroom is minutes away from walking tracks to dog friendly beaches, a popular surf break, and whitebait fishing on the Kakanui River. Walk the river track, and over the old bridge to the shop for great coffee, hot food, and essentials. Ōamaru is 10 mins north with its world famous Victorian Precinct, galleries, markets, and eateries. Moeraki boulders is 20 minutes south on SH1.

Small, quiet and private self contained one bedroom cottage with own entrance at the rear of our property in South Hill. Only 650 metres to the Victorian Precinct & the ocean side of the Alps to Ocean Cycle Trail, walk to great eateries, art galleries, Steampunk and only 1.7km to the Blue Penguin Colony. The cottage has a fully functioning kitchen, Sky TV, wifi & heat pump to keep you cosy on colder days, with lashings of sunshine in the afternoons.

Buckley’s Retreat

We offer this unique tiny home with fantastic Ocean views. You can wake to the sunrise and watch the sunset at night all from your bed. We offer continental breakfast. Which includes eggs if the hens are laying. Outdoor spa, Complementary snacks and beverages. You may also bring your dog. 5mins drive to the centre of town. But have restaurants and grocery shops near by. Off street parking also. Just on the town boundary with a rural feel.

Campbells bay is just a 5 minute walk away, where you can enjoy walks on the beach, swimming, surfing/body boarding and fishing. Beach toys, BBQ and outdoor furniture. The garden and deck with sea views is a perfect spot for lounging and outdoor dining.

Nestled amongst the native trees, up on sunny South hill , hides a mid-century gem. Elevated over the garden with a deck that completes the house giving prime views of the ocean and sunrise. 2 minutes down the hill to the historic precinct filled with many delights including Blue Penguins ,bakery, coffee, art galleries and breweries.The East Coast golden sand beaches are a short ten minute drive away.
