The Family Casita is the guest wing to a family home with a private separate entrance. This is a large elegant adobe with thick walls that keep it cool in the summer and provide old world charm. A very spacious 900 square foot studio space, it has two original fireplaces, one in the eat-in kitchen, and one in the main room. There is a beautiful hand painted king sized bed and a Euro Lounger (that converts to a double bed), separated by a privacy wall. Dogs welcome. Sorry can't accept cats.

Once in the room the bathroom is down a little hallway, maybe 10 feet with 3 steps. The room has a mini refrigerator, Keurig, small microwave, message chair, TV with Prime and Netflix. There are drinks, snacks, pods for coffee, tea. Each night stand has an outlet with plugs for phone and laptop. The bath has towels, wash cloths, robes, soap, shampoo, conditioner.

Slightly cooler for the altitude, our place is a respite from the heat but only 10 to 30 minutes from everything in the city. Conveniently located near trails, the tram, and the balloon fiesta. Art filled casita with open concept floor plan which includes a sleeping area, tiny kitchen, a sitting area, and a bathroom. Private entrance, fenced yard with table and chairs, bird feeders, and hammock, off street parking for 2 small cars. With good WIFI and the easy access to nature the casita is a comfortable refuge. I do accept pets, regardless of what it might say elsewhere in this listing. There is a $12 per pet fee per night to be left in cash on departure.
