You'll love our location, it is quite unique. In a prior life it was a mechanics workshop which we have repurposed into a delightful home. BTW - Once you book, you will have the wing to yourselves, even it's just you. Fantail Inn a Place of Serenity

Stylish peaceful stand-alone studio, set away from main home. Native bush setting. If you're looking for a complete getaway and then Fantail is the studio for you. Please note before booking. We are unable to accept pet accommodation and children. Phone service is a bit hit and miss. Wi-Fi is available (not on fibre) on an unsecured network, unfortunately, rural areas can be not that reliable at times.

Surrounded by Tuis and Wood pigeons the hut is close to Piha and Karekare…or simply stay and enjoy nature. Beaches are 10 minutes away by car. Grocery shopping and gassing up recommended beforehand. Misty Mountain Hut supports local Piha staff by paying $40/hr.
