The Blue Cottage provides a spacious, private, fully self-contained and well-equipped spot for a Waiheke getaway. Close to shops and beaches, restaurants and wineries. Fully equipped new kitchen with dishwasher for those who wish to eat-in, and a gas grill on the patio. Recently installed solar with battery ensures the cottage not only generates surplus power for the grid, but also maens power outages (v rare) are catered for. We have an extensive garden and you are welcome to ask for a tour.

Take in a deep breath of sea air. You are standing on the deck. The Tasman sea stretches out below you between towering dune cliffs. The sun is getting low, casting a warm glow over the surrounding pastures. There is no one around. Just you and the horizon. Take a sip. Fire up the bbq. The Stables is a quaint country rural cottage set amongst rolling green hills, this fully self contained rustic cottage is beautifully appointed and sleeps up to 4 adults or 2 couples in 2 bedrooms. The cottage sits in the gardens of the owners farmhouse yet you are in complete privacy of all, on this working beef farm. Its location is central to many wedding venues & vineyards and only 45 minutes from Auckland's CBD, making this a perfect location for wedding accomodation or a country escape.

The house is located opposite the 16th tee of the Waitemata Golf course and minutes from the fabulous Narrow Neck Beach, Wakatere boat club & cafe. Located 5 minutes from Aucklands Southern motorway and just 35 minutes from the CBD, and 20 minutes from Auckland Intl Airport. A great place to get away from the busy city. Also handy to the Karaka Bloodstock Centre for those with Equine interests. Plenty of room for parking (including a horsefloat).
