We offer family friendly self-catering accommodation as well as camping and day visits. This private nature reserve and guest farm is situated at 1800 m in the mist belt of the upper Drakensberg reaches, near Newcastle, Kwazulu Natal (35km), and Memel, Free State (30km). Discover pristine nature in this beautiful and dramatic landscape including high grassland, river, waterfalls, overhangs and forests, from your base in an historic farmhouse set in tended gardens under century old oak trees.

This charming two-bedroom, one-bathroom unit, located in a safe secure neighbourhood, accommodate six guests comfortably. Both bedrooms offer plush queen-sized beds. Waterfall River Lodge

This is a unique, comfortable, fully kitted, self-catering house sleeping 8/10 people. Hidden in a quiet corner of our working farm it overlooks a pristine section of the Wilge River, with the famous waterfall and Nelson's Kop mountain providing spectacular scenery. Guests will be able to enjoy absolute peace, uninterrupted views and walks in almost every direction. Please note that the property is remote and the last 200m of the access road will require a high clearance vehicle.

Wyford - Poplar Cottage

Wyford is a beautiful old school farm set in a valley just 2km off the N3 (about midway between Johannesburg and Durban) offering private self catering cottages. Wyford is great for families, especially with children, and good for couples, solo adventurers and business travellers. It is of historical interest as it is situated on the first pass over the Drakensburg mountains used by the ox wagons taking supplies to the mines from the coast.

No charge for children/elderly parent sleeping on lounge bed if accompanied by both parents.

Estee House is a home away from home situated in Newcastle, Central. The house is tastefully decorated with modern finishings. It has a fully fitted beautiful kitchen with granite tops. Very neat and secure. It is close to both hospitals and the Newcastle Mall. Housekeeping will be done free off-charge every alternate day. Change of towels are available on request. It is ideal for long stays with quiet and peaceful surroundings.
