Welcome to 'Tales of 1943' A property where 3-generations of my family were raised and today has been converted & renovated with modern and stylish interiors and amenities for you to experience. Located in the heart of Shillong city, this independent Assam-type home has been around for more than 80 years and is perfect for anyone looking for an escape. With timber-framed walls, slanting roofs, wooden floors, and a cozy fireplace in each room, this home is the perfect encapsulation of Shillong.

Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. When you are here, you may never want to leave. This place is ideal for couples who want a quiet holiday away from the hustle bustle to enjoy some peace, quiet and time for each other. The rate here is per bedroom. Additional cost is charged per number of guest or number of bedrooms requested. With this we have 2 completely separate apartments (max 2 adults) with a BR, attached bathroom, a kitchen and dining area and access to the lawn.

Latngenlang Cottage

This stylish place to stay is perfect for a couple and a family of 3. The cottage is located in a one acre property overlooking a pine grove and fruit trees( plum, peach and pear ) to the south, a meadow and hills in the backdrop to the east. It is a cosy, spacious room with an indoor fireplace , kitchen cum dining with all appliances. The wooden floors in the bedroom, kitchen and deck add to the ambience of the rustic surroundings. Water is sourced from a spring within the premises.
