Hackle Lodge

Two hours from Johannesburg, and one and a half hours from Pretoria, High in the Mpumalanga Mountains. Hackle is quietly situated on a mountain estate that is home to many wild birds and animals. It boasts 4 trout fishing dams. There's a SPA at the hotel. Putt Putt, swimming pool, tennis court, and many more fun things to do. We have about 12 Kms of farm roads before you enter through the big Kloppenheim Hotel estate, which is where we are situated. We have an inverter for load shedding.

Cosy House in Peaceful Lake District

Stay in a house with a story: in early years it was used as the South African Railways bus stop and goods house (between Johannesburg and Swaziland) and was occupied by the station master. It was later renovated and stylishly furnished. The house accommodates six, comprising of two double bedrooms and a twin room with two separate bathrooms and also a living room with a fire place, a fully equipped kitchen and outside braai area. Enjoy the privacy of having the whole house to yourself.

Royal Wulff Cottage at Woolly Bugger Farm

Royal Wulff is a cosy two-sleeper cottage, identical to our Marabou cottage, perfect for a fisherman’s adventure or a romantic getaway in the bush. Located near the two tranquil dams, the cottage boasts a studio layout that ensures intimacy and comfort. Royal Wulff’s king bed and tidy sitting area are warmed each evening by an indoor fireplace, while the patio opens right onto the African bush and the dam’s distinct ecosystem. This cottage is pet friendly.

Morgenzon trout & game farm

This is an old stone farm house on a 470 hectare farm. It can accommodate twelve people. It has five different dams for trout fishing (we have a catch and release policy). There are also many beautiful walking trails with a variety of game to see. Guest have access to the entire farm 15-20 minute drive from Dullstroom. Google Maps using "Morgenzon trout an game farm". House and gate will be open for you upon arrival. High clearance vehicle recommended.

A holiday home on a working farm with various animals in Pretoria East. (We have stopped keeping pigs on our farm, so the pig smell is a thing of the past.) Pretoria city is 30 km away. Shops and restaurants are 20 km away. If you really want to relax on a farm, then this is the place to be. 50 min from the airport. It is also an ideal place to work in peace, there are no power cuts and free excellent WIFI.
