Jay Hut

Located in Turtle Mountain Provincial Park, our off-grid huts are a great base for adventurers of all ages and abilities year-round. Our huts pack a lot into their small 160 square foot footprint. They feature a modern design, with a wood burning stove, cooking area, eating and sleeping space and storage racks for your gear. Outside the huts there is a deck space, outdoor cooking area, and gear storage for your skis or bikes. Each hut also has it's own outhouse, picnic table and fire pit.

Enjoy one of the most beautiful views that Souris can offer. Our cozy one bedroom loft with a Queen bed and a sofa bed can accommodate up to 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 kids. Sit in the balcony facing the iconic Swinging Bridge where you can enjoy the view all year long. You can cross the bridge and enjoy the Souris hospitality and shopping at Crescent Avenue, go exploring the Victoria Park to see our exotic Peacocks or enjoy the swimming pool and picnic areas. This unique place has a style all of its own! The apartment was once one large classroom and now it has 2 spacious bedrooms with queen size beds, a bathroom, and an open plan, well-stocked kitchen and living room, with private access to a laundry and 2nd bathroom on a lower level. Toiletries and slippers make for a cosy stay. Pelican Lake is a few mins walk, as is the Motor Hotel (beer store), a grocery store, (gas stn. & liquor mart), a Lounge & Restaurant, Bait Store, and post office.
