It has everything needed to cook food, be warm and sleep deeply as well as nearby hiking and skiing trails leading to rivers and cliffs. Welcome to Edgewater. Our garden suite is a completely private,separate suite. Guests have their own private entrance. Overlooking gardens and lake, you may enjoy spectacular sunrises and moonscapes. Listen to loons call as they locate one another on the lake. The suite has a comfortable sitting room, with dining table, and equipped kitchenette ( toaster, microwave, coffee press, kettle), ( there are no cooking facilities). Off the sitting room is a cozy bedroom, and private bathroom.

Newly built in 2021 as a place to hideaway in nature. Set on a private wooded 9 acre lot with lake access to Powers Pond. We have two Kayaks available for use. There are many walking trails on the property for you to explore nature! The contemporary and rustic features of the cottage highlight country living in Herring Cove Village, just 15 minutes to the city of Halifax. Stay put and relax in the hot tub or Herring Cove has hiking, sight seeing, ocean views, and local places to eat.

Mount Uniacke Lakefront Cottage

Welcome to our lakefront cottage in Mount Uniacke—just minutes from shops, restaurants, and trails. Nestled on beautiful Pentz Lake, enjoy a spacious backyard with a swimmable dock, kayaks, hot tub, and outdoor seating. A BBQ is available May through October. Inside, unwind in a modern open-concept living space with a large TV, dining area, and electric fireplace. Upstairs, you’ll find three queen bedrooms, a full bath, plus a second full bathroom and laundry on the main level.

A relaxing 1 bdrm country suite that can accomadate more with a daybed and ample space. 15 minutes from the airport, our quiet rural setting is a great spot to rest before or after a flight, use as a base for day adventures like hiking local trails or shopping in nearby Dartmouth(25minutes)/Halifax(30-40minutes). Wherever your adventure takes you, a warm cozy place to begin and finish it, awaits you here. Please note, smoking is not permitted on the property.
