Our stay on the lake was wonderful. The housing was perfect and met our needs. This would be a great house to rent during the summer months. WE had a little trouble locating the house initially as it is located among other houses and the drive down to the house is not clearly marked. If you are coming from the south you need to make a turn almost opposite the way you are coming into a steep drive to the housing. It needs to be better marked, maybe with an arrow and house number. The house could also us a little address sign on the walkway for clarification. HOWEVER, the stay was great and getting information to the person in charge was easy. The accommodations were very good. The view was wonderful. The water frontage is a bit steep but there are steps to bring you to the water. In all this is a wonderful home for vacation with amenities about 15 minutes away. I would give Nancy or Eric a call again.

House is exactly as shown and described. Plenty of space to gather as well as places to have a little time to yourself. Lots of shampoo/soap etc and all the necessities needed day to day. Definitely could not ask for a better view and atmosphere. Outdoor spaces were really great, appreciated the hot tub on the cool nights. I have mobility issues and was able to easily access and use all the amenities. Easy to access any amenities in the area. Both Crystal Beach and Ridgeway have lovely little areas with shops and cafes that both myself and my older kids enjoyed. Easy access and proximity to the beach as well. Scott is very responsive and easy to communicate with. Will definitely stay again.

Amazing lake side property, the lake is literally 10 steps away from the yard. House is spacious, well maintained, definitely would love to go back for longer stays. Highly recommended

This place is beautiful! Didn’t even need to leave - so much to do, a beautiful view and a perfect kitchen for cooking at home.

This was our second time utilizing the house and we had an amazing time, both times. For both we went in March, and though cold, the hot tub was better for it. Beautiful house and gorgeous location. The town is also super cute with everything you may need within a 4 mile radius.

It was a wonderful experience staying at Larry and Don’s place. The house is so cozy, perfectly equipped, and very clean. The view of the lake from the windows is calming and adds to the uniqueness of the home. Larry and Don were fully available, and everything we hoped for was exactly as expected. We were four adults and four children, and we had plenty of space — it never felt crowded. We highly recommend staying with Larry and Don!

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb by the river! The place was clean, spacious, and came with tons of great amenities that made our trip super comfortable. The location was perfectly private—exactly what we were looking for to unwind and relax. One of the best parts was just sitting in the backyard, watching the geese play by the river. It was peaceful, scenic, and definitely the highlight of our trip.

We had a wonderful time staying at this cozy lake cottage! It was perfect for our party of 9 and we would definitely stay again! Highly recommend!

Was exactly as listed. Richard was super responsive and very helpful to make sure check in went perfectly. We only stayed one night but I would definitely stay again.

I went during the off-season - it was easy to get to, Joyce was incredibly helpful and kind! Would definitely love to visit again in the future. She was very accommodating and friendly! I loved the whole eccentric vibe of the town and everyone felt very welcoming and friendly.

We had an amazing time at this beautiful Airbnb! The view of the lake from the patio was absolutely breathtaking with outdoor seating. Inside, the space was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated. Carm was very responsive and made check-in super easy. We loved how quiet and peaceful the area was — it felt like the perfect escape. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway by the water! We definitely need to come back.

Leanne’s place was so cozy and a great stay for a weekend spent skiing at Peek n peak resort! She was so kind and always responded quickly to any questions we had. She was flexible for our check in and check out times which is really appreciated! Would definitely recommend staying here.

Every corner of the place felt warm and welcoming, but what truly made our experience special was the host’s incredible kindness and hospitality. We felt genuinely cared for and completely at home. We were beyond impressed with the host and cottage! It is a private space just close enough to Niagara Falls!

We went near the end of April. Weather was a little chilly at night but beautiful during the day. The place itself had so many things stocked. We definitely over prepared. It was so quiet when we went. The first day, we didn't see any people...and we went to the park and the beach. We adventured to many of the spots listed in the Welcoming book. We would love to go back in the summer time to actually use the beach properly. Quiet, beautiful, lots of wildlife and the BEST dill pickle fries down the street at the Chip Ship.

Lakeshore out your door! What more can you ask for? I suppose you can ask for a lot more. A lot more is what was provided… clean, cozy space, friendly and responsive host. We would come back in a heartbeat. Thanks for be willing to share your special space!

Absolutely amazing stay! We loved the house and it would be great to return. We decided to visit Niagara falls in the winter, it was our first time in the area. I wasn't expecting much of our stay, but it turned out to be a beautiful romantic weekend. The house is right by the lake and has a gorgeous view. You can tell that it was build to be actually used by the hosts and not just a rental property, it is very well-made, cosy, with a lot of nice details and a fully equipped kitchen. We had an great time having breakfast and looking at the lake Ontario. 100% would recommend to stay there!

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The host was proactive, thoughtful, and incredibly responsive throughout the entire experience. The cottage was exactly as shown in the pictures—beautiful, clean, and cozy. What truly made it special was the extra touch: she had added a “Happy Birthday” decoration for my girlfriend, which made the celebration even more memorable. We couldn’t have asked for a better place or host. Highly recommend!

Wir waren für 10 Tage Anfang November 2024 in dem Ferienhaus und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Alles war sauber und das Haus ist vollständig eingerichtet. Die Lage direkt am See ist traumhaft. Der Stellplatz für den Mietwagen ist auf dem Grundstück direkt vor der Tür. Die Kommunikation mit Aksnay war unkompliziert und sehr angenehm.

The Shell Cottage was a great place to spend our vacation. It’s close enough to the falls, but with enough distance to avoid the craziness. The view is spectacular and we got a front row seat to the aurora borealis show from 10/10/24. The house is equipped with everything you will need, and the linens and towels were clean and smelled good. The hosts are great too, very responsive and personable. I would rent this place again in the future without hesitation. We created the sweetest memories and for that we are very thankful.
