The Trailhead Guest Cottage

Our peaceful oceanfront guest cottage is situated at the head of the 9.5 km Pollett's Cove hiking trail.  We recommend a two night stay - first night, settle in with a beverage, evening sunset and star gazing.  Wake to coffee and farm fresh breakfast delivered to your door step (except in August when we are on vacation), before hitting the trail to Pollett's Cove, the Skyline or any of the 30 other nearby national park trails. Have a swim, and return to a hot outdoor shower. Repeat!

La cuisinette est toute équipée et vous dormirez dans un confortable lit queen avec couette. This unique tiny home is located in the heart of a working fishing village in Champneys West! Located right on the Fox Island Trail! This retro themed home is small with a big presence! Because it is right on the water it has a propane Cinderella Incinerator toilet and a propane on demand hot water system. The harbour is a highly sought location and photographed daily by visitors who pass by. A beautiful place to relax and enjoy a beverage on the deck overlooking the water!

East Coast Newfoundland Cabin

A wonderful Cabin on the sea. It is comfortable and private, high cielings, one bedroom, bathroom, and full size sitting/breakfast/kitchen room with a long sofa. You are 500 feet from the wharf which is the hub of this outport. We are located conveniently on the Southern Shore, close enough to St. John's, Petty Harbour, Ferryland, Trepassy and even St. Vincent for day excursions. The CABIN is located next to the Barn, Bunky and Sibley Tent on the property.

Big Brook Wheelhouse

The first water wheel sawmill was built in Burlington in the late 1880s. Our wheelhouse is a reminder of the rich history of our town. Relax and enjoy the soft trickle of our functioning water wheel while enjoying the view of the harbour from the deck or fire pit. The interior of our wheelhouse offers a unique and functional design, with many reclaimed boards from family homes and wharves over 90 years old. Come explore our town, meet the locals, and enjoy!
