The Cottage

Unplug in this peaceful little getaway. Nestled in the backyard of our little hobby farm near the Wood River, you will be able to visit our alpacas, goat, or honey bees. Sit and relax on the porch, or stroll through the pasture or neighborhood. In many ways, the cottage resembles a tiny house with a small bathroom & shower, kitchen sink, microwave, induction hot plate, coffee maker, plates, glasses & utensils. Many of the restaurants & shopping amenities are located on the north end of Kearney.

Stay in a modern farmhouse on a 13 acre homestead with native prairie grass, huge open space and tons of trees. Ayr is about a 10-15 minute drive to the charming small town of Hastings, home of Kool-Aid, several craft breweries, Main Street shopping, restaurants, and coffee shops. We lovingly refer to our state as The Neb and it has lots to offer -- beautiful landscapes, stunning sunsets, bright stars, and good people. Come visit our AirBnB in the middle of everywhere. Cozy Nest on the Platte River

Enjoy quiet country living in our guest house by our home on the Platte River. There are forty acres where you can fish, walk, swim, or just relax on the porch. The nest accommodates a family of four, but if you need more space ask to add the River Room to your reservation. Enjoy one of the restaurants nearby or bring your own food and utilize our gathering space with couch, tv, fridge, kitchenette, and grill. WIFI is available but we recommend you put down the devices and enjoy your getaway.
