Eagle's nest has the best of everything: 10/min to fish lake, 25/min to Leavenworth, 10/min to bike, hiking, horse riding trails and so on. In the winter months outdoor adventures abound as we are on a forest service road with cross country skiing, snowshoeing and sledding, all accessed from your front door. This is a great time to get out walking and soon hiking in the higher country. The birds are so busy, singing and settling down to nesting time. Don't forget Bird Fest in May! Town is still quiet now in early Spring, so it's a great time to visit Leavenworth before schools let out and the many visitors arrive.

Tall mountains and snow-capped mountains are iconic of Leavenworth. Guests enjoy the proximity to Stevens Pass Ski resort (20 minute drive) and the Ski Chalet is appropriately appointed with a skier's favorite season in mind.
