It features a wood burning stove, large TV, Blu-ray/DVD player, stereo, leather chairs, and full kitchen. Enjoy hiking, skiing, BBQ, golf or hot spring onsen baths in the area. The home is approximately a 20-minute drive from Nagano Station on the JR Hokuriko Shinkansen bullet train and Shinano Railway.

Renovated to be open, modern and spacious our chalet is only 20 minutes drive from Nagano City, Togakushi and Iizuna ski resorts. It is less than 5 minutes walk (or 1 min drive) to some cafes and restaurants and the new Nagano Forest Village. There, you can buy local produce, craft beers & wine, and walk around the beautiful area. We recommend driving to explore more around the highlands and snow tires (or chains) are a must have during winter. We are 1080m above sea level, its cool in summer!

This family-friendly and the newly renovated house is located in the very traditional district and the calm but convenience area in Nagano city. 日本庭園と床の間のある和室と洋室(ベッド2 布団3) そして古い蔵の中の隠れた空間(Jazz bar風)でゆっくり。 Our house has a traditional Japanese garden and Japanese style room with a dormitory floor There is also an Japanese traditional warehouse．(Jazz bar style) 家の周辺には果樹園や水田が広がっています。 収穫期には美味しい果物と野菜とお米を食べることができます。 This area is an agricultural promotion area There are orchards, vegetable fields and paddy fields around the house. During harvest you can eat delicious fruits and vegetables and rice.

Maison d'hôtes KIRISIMIZU

“Maison d’hotes KIRISI MIZU”, is a Irimoya style (traditional Japanese house, similar to Temple) that has been beautifully restored from traditional materials and passed down from my grate-grand parents generation. The entire house is done in a classic style as used to be, except for a newly built kitchen, toilet and bathroom that provide all the necessities of modern life.
