I’ve promised my grandmother to preserve this retreat for future generations. Relax in the sauna, enjoy the hot tub, and experience Lapland’s untouched wilderness. Lapland cabin by a lake

This small, traditional, Lappish, log cabin is located right at lake Norvajärvi shore, only 25 meters to the water. Enjoy the lake view and forest around you, immerse to the nature and its sounds and smells and marvel the northern lights or cosy up by the open fire in winter. We are 20km from Rovaniemi city, apprx 30min drive with no street lights. Cabin has electricity but no running water. We bring you drinking water and washing water in sauna is taken from the sweet water lake.

Villa orohat offers you a place to relax and enjoy about silence and nature in local village Nivankylä. you can enjoy about fire place and make food in well equipped kitchen. Welcome to Ollero Eco Lodge – we’re a family-owned environmentally friendly cottage retreat by the Ounasjoki river on the Arctic Circle. You’ve found the perfect base for your holiday in Rovaniemi: Ollero Eco Lodge sleeps 6 people (8 with extra beds) in a quiet location just outside the city. We’re a 10-minute drive from the city center with all its services and attractions, yet free of the fuss and light pollution – a prime spot for observing the Aurora Borealis and arctic nature.

Ternu Forestvilla

You can enjoy the nature and scenery to the river during your stay. While you are enjoying the sauna or outdoor jacuzzi, you might have chance to see the northern lights. This mini house can accommodate 4 people comfortably but we have beds even for 6. It has full kitchen and living room with windows facing river, sauna, shower, toilet and two bedrooms with big windows facing the forest. Outside it has two spacious terrace's, one with jacuzzi. The building has just been completed.

Kultasärkkä

Charming cottage with all the amenities on a large plot. The distance to the center of Rovaniemi is only about 25 km. The distance to Santa Claus Village or the airport is also about 25 km. No public transport. The roads are well maintained even in winter. The cottage is easy to get to. If you wish, transportation can be arranged by Mercedes Benz Vito car for an additional fee. The car is not available for rent separately. Notice also our another accomodation: Villa Aurinkola.

Glamping in Aurora Igloo

Experience our unique Aurora igloo. Clamping near the city centre but still next to the forest. See and feel the frost around you but enjoy the warmness of the real fire and down blanket. Enjoy Lapland! We have only one igloo in our garden and it is one of a kind! You may also use the garden around for winter fun activities. We have sledges and shuffles for your use. There is no jacuzzi/hot tub or sauna available in this accommodation I am afraid.

Holiday Home Lumimarja

Welcome to the middle of nature to enjoy the cozy atmosphere of a log cabin. This holiday home, built in 2013, is located only about a 30-minute drive from the center of Rovaniemi and Santa Claus Village. The cabin has two bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen, a fireplace, and a wood-fired sauna where you can experience the Finnish sauna culture. There is also a private lean-to (laavu) on the premises.
