Ásinn-Brennistaðir 4 is 90m2 house for a group of up to 7 people +crib (year 2025). The house is located in untoucted nature next to a field on Brennistaðir farm, about 20 km from Egilsstaðir in the direction to Borgarfjörður eystri. The farm is sheep farm. We live about 400 m distance from Ásinn. Fully equipped kitchen, small sitting room, spacious bathroom (washing machine and dryer), 4 bedrooms. Good looking view, cairns, bird live, streams, family-friendly environment in peaceful nature.

Charming cottage in east Iceland HG110

Charming house in the countryside only 3,5 km from the village of Egilsstaðir. The house is well situated for those who want to visit the small and beautiful fjords in east Iceland. The house is equpped with geothermal heating system and is warm and nice in cold weather . It has 2000 liter hot tub ,with internal led lights, located on the terrace. 3 bedrooms ( 2x queen size + 1 single) nice bathroom with shower. Nice view to the town of Egilsstaðir and to mt.Snæfell. Flora cottages, unique, warm, romantic

Sumarhúsið Flóra er einstakt, íslensk og gamaldags, 12 km frá Egilssstöðum, staðsett efst og í enda í sumarhúsabyggðinni. Einstaklega gott og fagurt útsýni yfir dalinn og Lagarfljótið. Fuglasöngur, kyrrð, rómantík og notalegheit. Flóra er jarðhæð með svefnlofti. Á neðri hæðinni er inngangur, stofa, eldhús, bað og svefnherbergi. Á svefnlofti eru 2 rúm. Öll rúmin eru ný með góðum gæðum. Brattur stigi upp á svefnloft. Húsbúnaður er bæði nýtískulegur og gamaldags. Á verönd eru stólar og borð.

Off-grid cabin

Secluded cozy cabin that offers incredible views and a private waterfall. The cabin has 5 beds and two sofa beds. Included with the stay is private access to 3000 acres of beautiful nature to enjoy. A 4x4 car is recommended but not necessary if you are willing to walk the last 100 meters. Important: it is off grid and so it has very limited electricity and only cold running water. There is gas heating, gas grilling and a stove available. IMPORTANT FOR WINTER BOOKINGS: 4x4 car is required

Original restored turf farmhouse in the highlands

Sænautasel gives you a opportunity to experience living as people did in the olden days in Iceland. You should therefore be aware that there is no electricity. Everybody is sleeping in “Baðstofan”, which the space over the kitchen is called in Icelandic. Breakfast and/or Dinner is available for extra charge. You need to book this in advance at least 2 days prior. If you decide to book 2 nights you should be aware that Sænautasel functions as a guided museum from 12-17 PM.

Smábót 2 — riverside cottage

Smábót is a small cottage (15 square meters) and has accommodations just outside Egilsstaðir and has a great riverside view. The cottage has two single beds, private bathroom and free WiFi. The facilities are extremely suitable for two people. A variety of hiking trails are nearby and guests are allowed to go fishing for free in the river called Rangá. The nearest airport is Egilsstaðir Airport, 8 km from the cabin location.

We provide linen, towels, tea and Coffee for no extra charge. My place is close to the airport, family-friendly activities, the swimming pool and restaurants. Close to everything the east has to offer. You’ll love my place because of the location, its close to everything you'll need. It is recently renovated so you will feel at home. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families (with kids). The address is Midgardur 6, apartment number 102.
