The Blue Cottage provides a spacious, private, fully self-contained and well-equipped spot for a Waiheke getaway. Close to shops and beaches, restaurants and wineries. Fully equipped new kitchen with dishwasher for those who wish to eat-in, and a gas grill on the patio. Recently installed solar with battery ensures the cottage not only generates surplus power for the grid, but also maens power outages (v rare) are catered for. We have an extensive garden and you are welcome to ask for a tour.

Our waterfront accommodation is a great place to relax and unwind conveniently located overlooking the picturesque Putiki Bay. Sit on the deck and watch the sunset across the bay. The bay is a tidal and is a great spot for kayaking, paddle-boarding and swimming at high tide. With private waterfront views, the cottage is in with in easy reach of the islands beaches and local amenities, with the Ostend market and supermarket only 10 min walk.

There's a bedroom with a queen-size bed (and an electric blanket with two controls), a large living space with a queen-sized bed and a 60" (1.52 meters) couch. There’s no need for a car as you can catch buses from the ferry terminal at Matiatia Wharf and to other Waiheke beaches, vineyards and tourist attractions.
