Big 1 bed cottage has comfy King mattress + 2 sleeper futons. The Cabin (only open May 1-Oct 31) has kitchenette, bathroom & Queen bed. A backyard path to hammock & chill spot by Ripples (view only, but 1/2 mile away is Long Pond for swimming, canoe/kayak rental). Grill. Firepit. Tranquility! NOTE: Cabin open May-Oct + has ceiling+box fans but no A/C

Centrally located on the Blue Hill Peninsula, near Deer Isle, the cabins afford access to outdoor activities, cultural events, restaurants & shops.

Bright Quietside Chalet Near Acadia

Emerald Pines Chalet sits on Mount Desert Island’s Quietside, known for its quieter pace and easy access to Acadia. Under 5 minutes from Beech Mountain, Acadia Mountain, and Flying Mountain trailheads, with Jordan Pond and Cadillac Mountain a short drive away. Two bedrooms, two full baths, fully equipped kitchen, and a bright open living space with high ceilings and forest views. New in 2026: mini-split AC in both bedrooms. We offer super comfy beds, an outdoor shower, twinkle lights, summer nights filled with fireflies, bright maples in the fall, and cozy winter movie nights in a bed alcove like on a boat.

We are on the Blackwoods/Bar Harbor bus route so you can catch the free Island Explorer LL Bean buses to Bar Harbor and back.
