With amazing views and the Taste Tasman cycle trail at the end of the road this is the perfect retreat to get away from it all. We're lucky to be surrounded by farmland, countryside, mountains, sea, National Parks, fresh air and birdsong. Just a short 10 minute drive from the popular village of Mapua and 10 minutes from Motueka this artistic, modern, roomy and stylish studio is a perfect getaway. The Studio is located at the rear of our home property, down a private drive, with ample parking.

Welcome to our uniquely-designed holiday cottage: set in several acres of landscaped gardens, pasture and native bush yet within easy walking distance of the High St. Enjoy 'Happy Hour' with a local wine on the deck as the sun sets behind bush and mountains, take a short stroll into town to sample a craft ale at the Sprig & Fern Tavern or watch a movie at the independent Gecko Theatre. A choice of cafes, restaurants, beach or estuary walkways and cycle paths are within minutes of the gate.

We welcome you to our peaceful retreat: a modern, spacious guesthouse in Lower Moutere. The perfect base from which to explore the region, just five minutes from Motueka township, 20 mins from Kaiteriteri and 500 metres from the Great Taste Trail. Relax in style with peace and privacy and a view of lush, expansive gardens. You'll have ample parking for cars and bikes, access to Wi-Fi and smart TV, comfortable beds, a full bathroom, and a well-equipped kitchen.

Tranquility at its best, our super colourful studio sits next to our cottage with a fence providing privacy and faces a peaceful reserve leading down to the beach , swimming is tide dependent .Spectacular views of Tasman Bay and walking distance to the saltwater baths, the mariner coffee cart and Toad hall which won NZ cafe of the year 2024 .A five-minute drive to the Motueka township and a 20-minute drive to The beginning of The Abel Tasman National Park

Karaka at The Apple Pickers' Cottages

Karaka is a 2 bedroom cottage with decks and a verandah with wonderful views of the Waimea Inlet and mountains beyond. The outdoor bath, hammock, weber barbecue, brazier and outdoor furniture set in a beautiful natural landscape are perfect for a relaxing holiday. The sunroom/second bedroom is an extension of the living area. It converts to the second bedroom with 2 divans that can be made up as either a king size bed or 2 single beds. Children 12+

This modern purposely built apartment has been designed to cater for your every need. Home made muesli and milk is supplied for your first breakfast. Very quiet and private, it's just a few minutes stroll to the heart of Motueka township. There is parking for a small to medium car. The kitchen includes your own washing machine and dishwasher. Large doors open out to a private courtyard. Not suitable for children.
