Tethera Nook - a beautifully crafted retreat

Tethera Nook is the South East wing of Hylands with wonderful views. Set over three floors, surrounded by beautiful gardens. It has been renovated with great care, to the highest standard of design, using quality materials and finishes. It is a place to rest and unwind, to wander and sit in a garden full of wildlife, to gaze at the ever-changing views. It's 12 minutes walk from Kendal town center's many independent shops and restaurants and 5 minutes walk to our local pub 'The Riflemans Arms'.

Gorgeous home, private parking and stunning views

Bay View Cottage is a fabulous ENTIRE Ulverston home extremely well suited for a romantic escape for two people or for working in the area, or working at home, great WiFi. Very peaceful here no road noise lots of bird song, cosy up and enjoy the panoramic view. Very close to town centre it has own entrance with a key safe, so arrival time can be totally flexible, and there is private parking. We use a Professional cleaning service to ensure the place sparkles. Much better than a hotel room!

You'll stay in a small prize-winning canal-side housing estate, with piazza-style layout and private car parking round the perimeter. On the edge of the town centre, restaurants, wine bars, shopping centre, supermarkets are all within a 5-10 minute walk; together with museums, theatres, cinemas, castle, quayside, riverside footpaths and cycleways etc. Historic Williamson Park with the magnificent Ashton Memorial is also within walking distance. Kendal and the Lakes is 30 minutes drive away.

You will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located terrace. A drive to park on, private garden to play or relax in. Footstep to the Lakes, door step to Morecambe Promenade, Arnside and Kendal. Historic Lancaster with its Castle, Priory and Williamson park are all within walking distance of our front door. Canal walks are on your doorstep with views over the city centre. Williamson Park with its butterfly house, play ground and cafe everything a family would love.

The property has been refurbished and now offers modern open plan living. Off road parking for 2 cars and an EV charger, plus an enclosed garden. A large Sainsburys is 150 metres away, and the Lake Windermere 30 minutes.

Servants Wing at Claughton Hall, Sleeps 4

The Servants Wing is situated within the the Stunning and Imposing Claughton Hall. The views from the property over the Lune Valley from an elevated hilltop position are spectacular. The Fenwick Arms gastro pub is a short 12minute walk away at the bottom of the private driveway. Whilst adjoining the main house the accommodation offers a great deal of privacy and includes a separate entrance & private outdoor area.
