1880s Miner’s Cottage in Moonta Mines – Heritage

Step back in time at this 1880s miner’s cottage in historic Moonta Mines. Built over 140 years ago and extended in the early 1900s by the man who built many Yorke Peninsula roads, it still features the dining room, kitchen and bathroom he added. Lovingly owned for 12+ years and renovated twice, the cottage blends original stone walls and low doorways with modern comforts, a cozy wood fire, a well-equipped indoor & outdoor kitchen, and a big backyard perfect for BBQs under the dark night stars.

Our secure backyard has a kids’ playground, and the shed includes bikes and fishing gear if you’d like to try the local pastime. We look forward to welcoming you home!

The Girl Next Door - A quaint 1970s weatherboard shack on stilts, curated with simplicity and charm. Country town vibes with beachside town perks! Lovingly renovated, our shack is a cosy, neat & welcoming space to stay with friends and family - incl. your furry ones! New kitchen, balcony deck, bathroom & furnishings, the shack sleeps up to 9 people across 3 bedrooms. Only a short 10 minutes walk (700m) to the Jetty, The Gen Store & Johnson’s Cove and 15 minutes walk to South Beach.

Moonta Bay Self Contained Unit

Large one bedroom unit, set on it's own block of land. Located in a quieter part of Moonta Bay. You are a couple of minutes drive to the shops of Moonta and the historical Moonta Mines. A couple of minutes drive to the Moonta Bay beach and jetty, which includes a free water park for kids to play at the foreshore. 5 minute drive to Pt Hughes boat ramp. There is plenty of off street parking and room for children to ride bikes safely away from the road. Small dogs are permitted outside.

Sea views

Continental breakfast on request. Uninterrupted sea views from kitchen, dining and lounge area. Accomodation consists of lounge, dining/family area plus kitchen. Master bedroom, one queen bed, shower, separate toilet and powder room. Happy to have a discussion with regard to bringing your pet. Three minute walk to south beach, jetty, local store and Tavern. Room for boat outside. 9 hole Greg Norman designed Golf Course close by. Owners live upstairs. Shared laundry. Dog on site.

Coast Road Beach House - 300mtr to the beach.

Great place to relax and enjoy time with the family. 3 bedroom house, accommodates up to 6. Ducted reverse air-conditioning for all year round comfort. Board games, books and DVD's supplied. Smart TV (but no Internet). Can hot spot to own devices. Enjoy the fully fenced backyard with basketball court to keep children entertained for hours. Weber BBQ. Fish cleaning sink. LINEN IS NOT provided. Quilts and pillows provided. Great patio area to enjoy meals together. NO PETS allowed.

The area is known for its sandy beaches, clear waters, great fishing, coffee shops and eateries, plus sunsets you won't forget. A place to relax, explore and make memories!
