I recently had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The home was incredibly clean and well-kept, making for a comfortable and pleasant experience. The surrounding area was beautiful and peaceful, waking up to the views from the cabin was an amazing experience. Rich was extremely friendly and went above and beyond to help us check in smoothly. They were also very responsive and helpful when we had a few questions during our stay. Overall, it was a great time, and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy and welcoming spot!

Our family really enjoyed our stay here. It is so peaceful out there! Host was great with instructions and communication. Definitely would recommend for a private getaway!

Cindy is an amazing host! There are trails to walk the pups, amazing places to go, horses to pet, a hot tub to soak in. Lovely stay, very romantic!

Richard was a phenomenal host! He met us at the car upon arrival, helped us carry in our things, even offered to carry our baby's bassinet! The space was clean, very unique and just a great space to spend our evenings after our baby went to sleep while we were in town visiting my grandparents. He even had wine and snacks for us - crucial for new parents!

Debbie was a most gracious host and the home was perfect! Everything we needed was provided, especially in the kitchen. The surrounding farm was beautiful and so peaceful. This is definitely a place we want to stay again. We met our daughter here for a family weekend and we plan to return!

Thank you John for my second stay at Larew cottage. I can only imagine what it was like growing up there. It was a great base for our work documenting effects of the pipeline construction in the area and all the neighbors and folks we chatted with were wonderful, despite such a difficult intrusion in the region. I will be back!

My husband and I really enjoyed our 3-night stay for a VT event & hiking (30ish minute drive to VT, worth it for the peace and quiet outside Blacksburg). We loved the friendly farm animals, especially sweet Pearl the dog and the cuddly cat. We also got to see ducklings, baby goats, & chickens on the property. Beautiful, spacious property with a hammock & fire pit and plenty of room to walk around. Very friendly hosts, comfy bed. My husband had cell service the whole time (T-Mobile). I had no signal out there at all (Google Fi) and the wifi was a little spotty, but that's to be expected and we were there to unplug anyway. Just something to plan for if you need to be reachable. Wonderful experience, we would love to return and stay again.

What a wonderful place to decompress, enjoy nature and rejuvenate! We loved our stay and the beautiful surroundings. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat, this is it.

Another great stay at The Nest. We have been back to this location several times in the last several years. It is extremely close to our family that we can visit them every time we go down! We also are close to the town of Gap Mills and Union in which we visit each time. I can not express enough how amazing The Nest is and how friendly Thomas is when we plan our trips! 10/10 would recommend and 1000% will be staying here again and for the foreseeable future for our trips down!
