Stunning Alpine Retreat in South Lake Tahoe

Comfy, coxy, clean. In a quite neighborhood and bigger in the inside! Didnt have to worry about anybody tripping over one another because there is plenty of space to spread out. Easy to find things and great for a pretty sizable group to make dinner and play cards without being squeezed together!

2nd stay this year and another amazing experience. It had snowed pretty heavy earlier in the week and the driveway had been plowed and clear for arrival. There is nothing that hasn’t been thought of with this cabin! Just show up, bring some food and enjoy. A whole family favorite for sure.

Beautiful home in a convenient suburban neighborhood close to many shopping locations and restaurants. Entertaining amenities in home (foosball, arcade machines, giant Jenga outside, pool). Very responsive and friendly host

3BR chalet w/loft & fireplace near skiing, hiking.

Great location. Spacious three bedroom house. Family trip to the Snow. Close to Sierra at Tahoe, sledding, walking and hiking trails. Holiday Market has everything you need. Convenient location. Nice to have a garage to park in considering the three feet of snow we got on the first day. Roads are plowed on a regular basis. Had a great stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Unbelievable host. Unbelievable location (yes, you can feel the love!). Deserves all the five-star ratings and more. Nothing to add other than everything stated in all the other 5-Star reviews is 100% true. Great place: super fun, worth every penny, will come again. Oh, and Bill made the best scone I've ever had in my life. Wow, such a great experience!

Our stay in Murphy’s was a lovely experience. We booked our stay for a book club retreat and were looking for a quiet, comfortable spot to relax and read. The house was clean and spacious, very comfortable to accommodate our group. The location is perfect and walkable to many restaurants and wineries. I would recommend this location for sure!

Murphys is one of our favorite getaway spots for the weekend and this location is ideal if you're looking to walk to the local shops and restaurants. The home provided everything we needed and we are excited about coming back again next year! Michael was extremely responsive and provided us with everything we needed.

I cannot say enough great things about our stay! From the moment we arrived, everything was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described—if not better. The host was incredibly welcoming, responsive, and provided thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. The location was perfect—close to all sorts of great nature, peaceful and quiet for a relaxing getaway. The hot tub and game room was a game-changer, and every detail was clearly designed for comfort and convenience. We stayed at this beautiful home in South Lake Tahoe for a ski and snowboarding trip, and it exceeded all expectations. There were nine of us, and the house accommodated everyone comfortably with plenty of space to relax and unwind. The location was perfect—just a short drive to Heavenly Resort, which made getting to the mountain super convenient. The home was well-equipped with entertainment options, and the hot tub was the perfect way to relax after a long day on the slopes. I highly recommend this place to anyone planning a stay in the South Lake Tahoe area.

We had a wonderful stay! The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming — she even greeted us with a lovely welcome basket, which was such a thoughtful touch. The place was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed. We truly had an incredible time and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend!

Relaxing Mountain Retreat

This was the perfect location for us! It has a ton of space and toys for our kid to play with. It was only 30 min drive to the entrance of Yosemite. The house has everything you need to cook onsite. I would highly recommend this place for families or groups traveling.

Beautiful beautiful home! My family stayed here because it was close by to my wedding venue at Black Oak Mountain Vineyard. Everyone felt comfortable and right at home. The space was very clean and the hot tub was great at the end of the night. Highly recommend to a large family or group

We had a great stay in Sonora. I really appreciated the host's accommodating an early check in. The house was huge and walkable to downtown. We loved the porch area and rustic charm.

Our favorite cabin! We had an amazing and relaxing stay at Regina's cabin! The instructions were clear and easy to follow. The cabin itself was absolutely beautiful, both inside and out, and very spacious. Our family especially loved the jacuzzi and air hockey table! The second living room added to the fun, and the fast WiFi was a great bonus. The downstairs shower was a favorite, and we enjoyed cooking in the well-equipped kitchen as well as BBQing in the outdoor kitchen. The backyard had just enough snow for some sledding, which made our stay even more memorable. We can’t wait to come back!

Private Mountain Getaway!

We had a lovely time with family here. Beautiful setting, very clean and neat, nicely managed with professionalism. My kids loved the bunk beds. Some family members did think the beds were on the firm side, but I slept great. Wish there were a few more towels available for our use (and for the price of the rental), as we had to wash a load. We had a lucky stay with snow, and the property was just perfect! Janet was a great host and the care put into the home and hosting really shows!
