We’ve restored this side by side duplex and preserved many of the original features from the1920’s. A cozy, private cabin sitting on top of the hill overlooking the beautiful Minnesota River Valley. Start your evening with the grill lit and a cold beer in hand. Enjoy the peaceful sound of nature while sitting on the patio with the warmth of the campfire, the sweet smell of s'mores, and a sky full of bright stars. Or take the opportunity to stay indoors in the heated/air conditioned garage and start your own pool tournament. *This sits on our active cattle ranch, the driveway is shared by us.

Less than an hour from Minneapolis, the Loondocks is a sun-soaked, pet-friendly hideout on beautiful Big Eagle Lake. Natural stone steps (NOTE: These are uneven, so do not book if you have mobility concerns!) lead down to the bungalow-style house, a stylish bunkhouse, wood-burning sauna, spacious deck with lake views, and flat waterfront yard. Sip coffee and watch the sunrise, lay out a towel at the end of the dock, or share a meal with the whole family! This is the perfect all-season getaway.
