Take a break to unwind in beautiful Cowichan Bay on Vancouver Island - about a 40 minute drive from Victoria BC. Our renovated (in June 2023) suite is at the end of a no-through road and is only a 5-10 minute walk into the village to a fabulous, organic craft bakery, artisan shops, restaurants, a museum, a pub, a small grocery/liquor store and a popular ice cream/candy store. (Seasonal) kayak/paddle-board rentals & whale watching excursions for hire. Cowichan District Hospital 15 min drive.

Mount Tzouhalem Lookout

Welcome to our listing and the Cowichan Valley. We overlook Quamichan Lake, and are located midway between salt water at Maple Bay and the city of Duncan (each are a six minute drive away). We are also midway between Nanaimo and Victoria (1 hour drives). For bikers and hikers the Mt. Tzoulhalem (Kaspa Road) trailhead is 600m away (we provide bike lockup). Our rate is for 2 guests. Additional guests are $50 per night. Sorry, we're not child-proofed.

Located in the beautiful village of Shawnigan Lake, our basement suite of 450 sq. ft. can accommodate up to 4 people. WiFi included, a TV that you can connect to, the apartment has one queen bedroom and a comfortable sofa bed. It is equipped with a full kitchen and 1 bathroom with shower (off bedroom). The accommodation is non-smoking. We are just a short stroll from the village centre and the lake, Victoria is 44 km and Mill Bay is 10 km.
