CasparCottage. is a charming quiet nicely appointed cottage that we built on our 5 private acres 3 miles from the ocean and 10 minutes from Mendocino or Fort Bragg. Walk to the WATERFALL in the Russian Gulch State Park from the cottage. We are at the eastern edge of the park. We've been sharing our cottage with guests for many years and have many guests that return year after year. It's a perfect place for a honeymoon, anniversary, special occasion or quiet retreat. We provide breakfast goodies!

Refuge at end of private road in redwoods, natural forestland & Juliette's long-loved garden. Carpenter/Musicians/Local Artist-built cabin with much natural wood & light. 15 minutes to Mendocino "proper"; 5 minutes to Albion harbor; 10 minutes to Navarro State beach; 6 minutes to Navarro Headlands trail. Meadow Wood on the Mendocino Coast is a modern county home in a lovely meadow surrounded by redwoods. It is a serene setting 2 miles inland from the ocean, avoiding our foggy summer days. Multiple State Parks and beaches are a short drive away. There is abundant wildlife and year-round wild flowers. Nearby is excellent dining; art galleries, theater, golf, tennis, spas, kayaking, fishing, nightlife and unique shopping in Mendocino, Little River and Fort Bragg. Stay several days to enjoy it all.

Forest Cozy Home

My house in Forestville is a walk to the river (Steelhead County Beach), near endless wineries, canoe rentals, gorgeous Sonoma coast beaches, Santa Rosa airport, a bicycle trail through West County with bike rentals in downtown Forestville offering immediate access to the trail, and a very well-stocked little grocery store a 5-minute walk down the hill. Lovely back roads take you to Healdsburg to the north or Sebastopol to the south. My dog & I stay in a basement studio when guests are here.

Lots of outdoor space; fire pit, redwood fairy ring with hammock, secret tree forts, lawn games, outdoor kitchen with sink, counter and BBQ.

Your second home is above our 2-car garage, a 1 bedroom, 1 bath, living room, full kitchen and dining area. A twin size daybed is in the living room. Local grocery stores are within a mile, a 10-minute drive to downtown Santa Rosa, 45-minute drive to the coast and little over an hour to San Francisco.
