ON THE TRUCKEE RIVER right in the historic downtown area, our little place is a 2 block walk to restaurants AND shopping. You’ll love our place because you can sit inside or in bed and watch the river flow by. It's a peaceful place, new and modern, private and the middle of it all. It's not just a place to stay, it's a destination. QUIET people only please. We have a firm sofa sleeper. we have a couple of other mattresses we can bring in if you have your mellow kids with you.

The Big House on the Lake is good for couples, business travelers, families (with kids), and big groups. The house is right on the lake making it easy to go fishing, boating, paddling, swimming, kayaking or water-skiing. You can sit on the deck and watch the water foul as they become part of the scenery and just relax. The top part is available for air bnb families, the bottom part is locked as it is used for event space with no sleeping quarters.
