This sweet little cabin on the river is a remodeled/updated log cabin from the 1940’s. Simple and slightly rustic, with everything you need for a comfortable stay! We think it has the best view on the whole river. There is shallow water and a sand bar mid-river in front of the house. The swans, geese, ospreys and Bald Eagles are a treat to watch. The cabin is a relaxing and intimate getaway for couples. It is cozy in the winter with a small hot tub overlooking a beautiful view.

Relaxing River Cottage-NEW Hot Tub is located on the bank of the Muskegon River just south of Big Rapids. Get away from the hustle and bustle and unwind in our new Hot Tub.The peace and tranquility this location provides is unmatched! Nestled on the bank of the Muskegon River on one of the only private roads in the area, there's only two houses past our cottage. No road noise here! Make memories around our fire pit, on the deck or the platform near the river. $75 dog fee, 2 dog max.

Located at the end of a half-mile driveway, the surrounding 40 acres provide a private, woodland setting for your relaxation and enjoyment. There's a small rowboat for your use. Fiber optic internet keeps you in touch and two large screen TV's provide evening entertainment.
