Just across the road is the information centre and museum with friendly staff to help you with your travel needs.

Nestling in a forest of Peppermint Gums is Wylah Cottage, so named after the Aboriginal word for the Yellow Tailed, Black Cockatoo, which is regularly seen and heard around the property. On 55 acres of bushland, teeming with wildlife, yet only 7kms from Deloraine – on the way to Cradle Mountain, and 45 minutes to either the Devonport Ferry, or Launceston Airport.

Blackwood Cottage is the perfect place to use as a base for outdoor adventures or as a place to relax in front of the fireplace.
