We absolutely loved our stay at John and Mary Lou’s bunkhouse on their farm. The property is beautiful, peaceful and quiet. John and the dogs welcomed us when we arrived and John showed us the space which was very clean and just like the photos. He had set up a space heater and also gotten a fire ready to light before we arrived but we were perfectly warm without either and slept very soundly in the extremely comfortable bed. We asked John about prairie chickens and he gave us detailed directions about finding them. We set out in the wind and mist early the next morning not realizing John had emailed us to say he would drive us to the spot as the weather was bad! We heard the prairie chickens booming and were making our way back when we saw John in his car with his granddaughter. We all drove back and saw the prairie chickens again and some of the rest of the farm. Our stay was very short but very special. We’ll always remember John’s kind generosity and the beauty of the farm.

I had a fantastic stay here! The place was beautiful, very comfortable, and felt like home. It was extremely well stocked with everything I could possibly need—kitchen essentials, toiletries, and even a few thoughtful extras. The attention to detail really made a difference. Highly recommend and would absolutely stay again!

Paul and Mendy are great hosts. Paul gave us great directions to the house, welcomed us, and made sure we had everything we needed. The house is a great place to stay and is in a quiet place that feels like you are in a secluded area.

We enjoyed our stay at Tom and Cindy’s cottage. A very clean and quiet space with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. A top notch unit.

Ericka was a great host, addressed a concern with the lock quickly! Very kind and accommodating throughout the whole booking and stay process! Very grateful she allowed me to host my family for a get together that was 5 years overdue! Highly recommend Ericka’s place! Looking forward to staying again!☺️

Steve and Kelly were amazing hosts and their accommodations were clean, modern, and incredibly convenient. The hot tub was brand new and recently replaced, worked great and was one of the best parts of our visit. Will definitely plan to rebook if I am in the area again in the future!

A perfect stop on our cross country road trip! Great spot for pups and our family of 4 adults and 1 infant. Kressy was an extremely responsive and helpful host! She checked in with us when it snowed and even made sure the driveway was clear so that we could easily get back on the road in the morning. Thanks, Kressy!
