Fortress of Solitude

Enjoy a log home on 45+ acres of conservation land. Access the Bruce Trail and old walking trails, visit beaches in Owen Sound, Sauble, and Southampton, the Grey Roots Museum and Archives, and the spectacular sights of Inglish and Eugena Falls along the Niagara Escarpment... before retreating to the Fortress of Solitude. The house is a unique rustic, not a city home. There is no dishwasher or AC. The house is well equipped. You are in the woods, so bugs and such will make the occasional visit.

Our yurt is located in a pocket of trees next to rolling farm fields and beautiful conservation land that the Rocklyn creek meanders through. You can prepare your meals in a sweet outdoor kitchen that is entirely screened in- or choose to sit by the fire. Bruce Trail access is just around the corner, and the towns of Meaford and Owen Sound are a short scenic drive away.
