The Bunker is a newly renovated self contained garden studio apartment in beautiful Edge Hill Cairns. It is suitable for Couples, Solo Travellers or Business People. Public transport is a 2 min walk to the end of street if you do not have your own transport. Off street parking is available to you also. Jum Rum Place, Kuranda QLD

Kuranda, home to the Indigenous Djabugay people is tucked away within an ancient Rainforest. Jum Rum Place is located only 1.6km from the Kuranda village, North Queensland backing onto Jum Rum Creek Conservation Park where there are numerous species of birds, Striped possums, Suger Gliders, Pademelons with abundance of butterflies including the Ulysses and Cairns Bird Wing. The beautiful Jum Rum Creek Walking Track is close by which takes you into the Kuranda Village, only a 15 minute walk.

You will be delighted with the chorus of bird song and take great pleasure in sighting vibrantly colourful tropical birdlife and butterflies.

Quite secluded location with elevated 180 degree views. Caravonica is a central location to a number of attractions around the Cairns area. You can walk to Lake Placid or Skyrail and only a short drive to Kuranda Rail at Freshwater. You can drive to Kuranda or Cairns City in twenty minutes.

Kisler Cottage - Rural retreat with a view

We call our lovely cottage "Kisler Cottage". It is located on the edge of Malanda which has all amenities, shops, period hotel, RSL , cafes and restaurants. Malanda is a great base to explore the Atherton Tablelands. Kisler Cottage is fully self contained, well appointed with quality furniture, some made by master- craftsman Victor Kisler, hence the name. The views from the cottage front deck are spectacular. So are the sunsets.

Tinaroo Wilderness Retreat

Tinaroo Wilderness Retreat is situated on over 2 acres of beautiful bushland next to Lake Tinaroo. The cottage is totally private and backs into a reserve. Only a short stroll to the lake and is surrounded by an abundance of wildlife. 3 minute drive to Black Gully boat ramp, 12 minutes to Atherton mountain bike park, and Mount Baldy walking trail. It has it all — fishing, hiking, mountain biking, water sports.

From the moment you enter the driveway you will feel the pressures of everyday life slip away. The 40 acre farm is situated in Lake Eacham and bordering Lake Eacham national park.
