Nature’s & Pilgrims’ Rest at Red Bluff River Haven

A unique river retreat for relaxing and viewing wildlife. We are minutes from extensive trails and about an hour from Lassen Park. Our house has fragile and antique components and is not suited for pets, groups or children. If you are ok with quirky, imperfect, au natural and "wild" (possibility of snakes and spiders) we have your place! With windows along most of the east side, you will almost always have a view of the Sacramento River. This is not a cookie cutter house—please read listing.

It's well built and sits off the road a bit and invites you to relax and enjoy what the Lake McCumber /Mt Lassen community has to offer. This cottage is the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring nearby lakes, waterfalls, and mountains year around. The cottage is cozy, comfortable, clean, and inviting. In the forest near Lassen Volcanic National Park, you'll enjoy the mountain views! Deer, wild turkeys, and squirrels provide endless entertainment. In the summer you'll enjoy relaxing on the porch. Winters will find you enjoying sitting by the fire taking in the view from our large picture-perfect windows.

Relax in this newly built log cabin on over 3 private acres of land at an elevation of 4,300 ft. The 1350 square foot cabin has a large master loft with a large private bathroom and media area. The loft also has a balcony that gives you amazing views of the surrounding trees and is the perfect place to listen to birds and watch wildlife. The cabin is ideal for a couple, small family, best friends, or an individual looking for a personal retreat in the forest. Dogs are welcome!

This pristine home is situated next door to our very popular Tall Timbers Bed and Breakfast. 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms and a gorgeous fully equipped kitchen. The second floor features two bedrooms sharing a stylish and modern bathroom. Checking in at our Tall Timbers B&B location. Washer and dryer located in the laundry/mud room. The house is conveniently located 7 miles from the gate to Lassen National Park and located less than 1 hour's drive from Burney Falls.

You will have access to our hot spring and swimming reservoir (the hot spring requires 4-wheel-drive in inclement weather.)
