I very much enjoyed my stay! The apartment was cozy, and it had everything I needed. It was just a short walk from downtown, and I felt very comfortable in the neighborhood. Scott was a very friendly and communicative host, and I would definitely stay there again!

Cute little Airbnb in the heart of Manistee! Easy access to downtown and the beach. we came for a little fishing and it was perfect for what we needed. Lots of cute decorations too.

One of the most unique Airbnb places we've stayed in. The apartment has a lot of stairs, but climbing up them is well worth the effort! It is situated on the top floor of an old bank. It's been renovated to be bright and modern with an open concept. The high ceilings and large windows, makes the place airy and bright. Beds were comfortable. A full kitchen had everything needed. Lots of hot water-pressure great. Extra bonuses - a balcony off the back of the apartment overlooks the Manistee River and there's a vintage movie theater just across the street. The river is a freighter channel with drawbridges! You can check in advance to see when ships will pass and if you are lucky, you may see one. The Vouge theater seems to show one new movie, a classic movie, and an indy type movie. The rest of the neighborhood is all 19th century/early 20th century buildings - pubs, coffee shops, a restaurant, antique shops, etc. Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore is only 50 mins away. Two Lakes Lodge was the perfect place to kick off our Michigan trip! We loved it so much, we already booked our next stay! The home was spotless, beautifully updated, and in the absolute best location. Right in the heart of town! Walking distance to several restaurants, coffee shop, local markets, and ice cream! We noticed a few reviews mention water pressure or a sulfur smell, but we simply followed the host’s tip to run the water for a few minutes when we arrived and we had zero issues. The water was hot, pressure was great, and everything worked perfectly. Truly a wonderful stay. You won’t be disappointed!

This place is cute as a button with the layout and decorations! Not overly big or too small - just right! During the summer, it would be even more awesome being on the lake as this place and has kayaks and paddle boards! I really wish it had been warmer so I could have used them. Nice fire pit too. Books! Lots to choose from! My mom and I really enjoyed it! I look forward to coming back for each of the seasons!

We've stayed a few times with Dave and always love our time here. He is very responsive to questions, makes excellent suggestions, and even provides a holiday touch. We love staying here with access to the kayaks on Portage Lake in the summer and the beautiful views year-round.

Evan was a responsive and friendly host and reached out to us at check-in, mid-stay, and checkout to make sure we were all set throughout our stay. For those with mobility concerns, the unit is on the second floor, so you do have to climb a flight of carpeted stairs. Also note that the walls are a bit thin, so we could hear our downstairs neighbors and dog quite clearly, something to keep in mind if you are sensitive to noise. These were both non-issues for us though, so we had a wonderful stay overall! Their place was no-frills, clean, and cozy.

My partner and I loved staying here over the winter holiday. It was very well-thought out design in such a small space and most things we needed for our stay were included by the host. It seems like they thought of everything and we agreed that this would be a very nice place to stay in the summertime. The only thing I’ll say is that I don’t think the Airbnb could sleep 4 - when the Murphy bed is down, there isn’t much room remaining. We were very comfortable but we are two fairly small people. This is an excellent space for a couple! Thank you again.

In town for a sisters getaway. The house was great, lots of space to gather together, great kitchen amenities and convenient location.

Great place to stay. Close to the beach and downtown. We went in the off season so the crowd was light. The place is clean, inviting, and has all the amenities you would need. We didn’t use the pool or hot tub so I can’t speak on that but they seemed nice. Troy was responsive to all of my questions, great host.

Wonderful place to stay during our trip to Manistee. It was so cute inside, has a very homey feel! We stayed during the winter and it did take quite awhile to heat up, but nothing that couldn't be fixed with a heavy sweater and cuddling up in some blankets. would definitely stay here again!

My husband and I loved this AirBnb. We watched the most beautiful sunset on kayaks and ate breakfast with lake Portage as our view. There was a really great nature trail within walking distance of the place too where you could take your dog for a walk.

Our stay at Dan's place was fantastic. This is the second time we have stayed here. The area is beautiful and it is hard to beat the waterfront view. Dan was extremely accommodating and very responsive. I would not hesitate to book this house again!

This was our 2nd time staying at Chris’s place. It really IS perfect. We like to relax and spend time with family and friends in this space. The kitchen was stocked and we found it easy to Prepare meals. The appliances were up to date. The sleeping arrangements were comfortable. The bathrooms were clean.

Carolyn was so beyond accommodating and helpful! Her space was so beautifully eclectic and a joy to exist in! Beyond thankful for such a wonderful host!

We have stayed here several times and find the place beautiful and the location is perfect. If interested in suggestions, I'd recommend including a couple cruiser bikes- that would make it fun for guests. Make sure to follow the parking guidelines. A neighbor across the street kindly reminded us of the parking rules while parked on her side of the street for a short while.

Overall, excellent choice for us for the first leg of our golf trip at Arcadia Bluffs.

Our family loved the stay! Beautiful scenic view in the backyard with boat dock. Steps to the 5th Ave Beach (not overcrowded). Short Drive to the 1st Ave beach. The condo was clean and charming. Our kids loved the park and pool just steps away! Our family will definitely consider staying here again!

The condo was beautiful and very clean! It was super easy to find and get in/out of. There was plenty to do on the property and nearby!

I would return in a heartbeat! This home was clean, well stocked, beautifully decorated, and we felt right at home. We had exactly what we needed for 3 nights for a small getaway. The community pool and hot tub were very nice as well. Can't wait to come back for another visit.

I had an absolutely amazing stay at James' place! The view of Portage Lake from the property was breathtaking, and the overall experience was top-notch. James and Lillian were exceptional hosts, going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. The attention to detail, the cozy atmosphere, and their warm hospitality truly made this trip unforgettable. I can't wait to return and enjoy another stay in this incredible Airbnb.
