Set back hidden from the road in a bamboo oasis, it’s private and peaceful. Walk or bike to nearby river, beaches, forest. Or hop on the Highway 1/3 mile away. 3.5 miles to Airport, 30 to Redwood National & State Parks. We’ll share walls so you’ll sometimes hear me, though I try to be a considerate neighbor. “Bungalow by the Bay” a little home away from home. Our 900sq/ft house is nestled in a small community on Humboldt Bay called Manila, between Eureka and Arcata. The area provides access to many activities; beaches, redwoods, and charming towns. Just a few blocks away is Samoa Beach and the Manila Sand dunes or head north to Moonstone Beach. To hike the redwoods, head to Sequoia Park or Redwood Park, both within 15 mins of the house. Also visit the charming towns of Trinidad and Ferndale.

Cruising up the long drive-way, you'll be welcomed by our mustang, and adorable donkeys . We welcome guests of all backgrounds and love making new friends. Having lived on the North Coast for over 40 years we're a great resource to make your stay memorable.

Relax and rejuvenate in our cozy guest suite. The room boasts a large living area, comfortable furnishings and a calming atmosphere. With all the luxuries and privacy of a hotel suite, we also boast beautiful gardens and a waterfall cascading down into a koi pond to enjoy. The suite has a private entrance and is situated at the end of the a quiet street in a upscale, safe neighborhood. We are 5 minutes to shopping and dinning and another five to the fabulous Moonstone Beach.

Welcome to our little, dog friendly, beach house in Manila! Enjoy a full kitchen, a dry sauna, full size washer and dryer, ample parking, speedy wifi, and an enclosed yard just a 10min walk to a dog friendly beach. Each room has a queen bed with different firmness, as well as a queen pull out couch in the living room. An even split between Arcata and Eureka makes getting to 101 a straight shot. Less than a 5 min drive to the marina. Located near the beautiful redwoods!

Chic Eureka Studio

Enjoy this chic and modern 500sq ft upstairs, above garage studio. This lovely space has all the amenities you need to spend the weekend in or relax after a day of exploring. Henderson center shopping and restaurants only a mile away and charming old town is a 1.5 mile jaunt. It’s an easy 15 minute drive up the 101 to Cal Poly Humboldt, and not too far from beautiful beaches, and the majestic redwoods. Perfect for couples, small families, and business travelers.

My guest space is a small, private room (11x7, not incl bathroom) attached to the back of my house. The room has a private entrance off the backyard with an attached private bath. I offer keyless entry. Guests can enjoy the attached deck off the room and relax in a peaceful yard. The room is a burst of color to contrast with the gray days in Humboldt. The room is a short walk to the zoo and several restaurants. Old town is a quick drive.
