Welcome to Nyota ya Amani, a calm, breezy and private one bedroom apartment in Shela, Lamu. A 3 min walk to the seafront and 5 min walk to the beach. It is spacious with open dune views and a private balcony. Our housekeeper/chef prepares customised meals and assists with cooking, cleaning and laundry at no extra charge. We have a firm orthopedic mattress, cotton sheets, four pillows, a fitted net and cotton towels. We assist you to plan island activities and arrange airport or mainland pickup.

Dar El Eden house is an old 18th century swahili house carefully restaured and expanded in 2009. This coral stone house maintains its original swahili architecture , using local traditional materials and tadelakt plaster like in Marocco. Original 3,5 ceilings and walls are decorated with carved niches , freezes and alcoves . The 4 levels home with swimming pool have 5 bedrooms suiting up for 13 persons and includes a 360 degrees panoramic view terrace on the city and ocean on third floor.
