Very clean, well equipped property. We would stay again. Unfortunately the weather thwarted our Tongariro Crossing plans, and there's not a lot to do in the area during poor weather, but the house was well equipped to keep the family entertained.

Absolutely beautiful place with a gorgeous view of the river. The house is one of those places that makes you feel instantly at home. Sally is an epic host, super responsive and kind.

It’s breathtaking in its privacy, scenery and layout and has all the amenities one would need to feel right at home! It accommodated our 8-person property easily. We will absolutely come back for another stay!

What an absolutely stunning place. Beautifully located in nature, with a gorgeous little stream flowing through the garden. The house is beautifully designed and fully equipped – everything you might need is there. Truly a fantastic spot. Hosts Scott and George are real superhosts – thoughtful and caring. Tim was an amazing host! He was very responsive and made everything easy for us, especially when I needed to add extra guests last minute due to a leg injury. His understanding and flexibility were truly appreciated during a tough time. The place was exactly as listed — clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. The kids especially loved the blackboard, which kept them happily entertained. Thank you, Tim, for your thoughtful hospitality. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Great home for families with good sized bedrooms and bathrooms. The living space was very comfortable, and the addition of a range of family boardgames was great. The home is set in a quiet tranquil area overlooking forest/bush which provided lovely walks. Easy 10mins walk to Carrotland which is an an awesome adventure playground and activity area with pump track, bike tracks, playground etc. Our 7yr old loved it. We had some issues with running water when we arrived but Charlotte was super responsive and helpful and it was all resolved within an hour...and Charlotte provided a wee gift basket (nibbles and wine) in acknowledgement of our being slightly put out. Charlotte was very thoughtful and responsive in managing the whole issue. We will absolutely stay again. It was a lovely comfortable home.

This property was close to town, as described, clean and tidy, comfortable beds, nice hot shower, peaceful and quiet. Good clear and precise communication. I would book this property again in the future. Thanks Paul.

Private, warm apartment at the Powderhorn end of town. We were inside for the majority of our two nights in Ohakune due to the weather but we were so comfortable and made use of the fully equipped kitchen. Thanks Dion for your great communication. We would stay again.

Lovely location overlooking Lake Taupo and into the sunset. Spacious deck to relax, eat and enjoy the view. Helpful responsive host. Very clean and well equipped living areas. Lovely Millennium Hotel restaurant right across the street. Great location for a relaxing break.

Very welcoming. Host arrived with some freshly baked bread and the fire was warming the house. We recommend staying here!

What a fantastic place! Very well set up with everything you need for a short or long stay. So comfortable and homey. We were just one couple but it also would be super for a large family group. It can sleep a lot of people comfortably and the communal space is large, like what you would find in a lodge. Great location. We walked up from the train and were able to walk to dinner and to some nice trails.

Loved my stay, left in the morning, returned at night, had awesome sleeps, comfortable and warm. Ngā mihi!

We loved our stay here! The fireplace kept the house warm, which was great as we woke up to a couple of frosts! Perfect stay for 2 adults 2 kids!

Quiet spot in the countryside, lovely to be out of the city but still only 10 mins drive to the nearest supermarket if needed. Hosts give you plenty of privacy and were quick to reply to any messages. Would recommend :)

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in Kuratau genossen. Die Lage der Unterkunft unmittelbar am Lake Taupo ist phantastisch. Wir konnten direkt vom Grundstück an das Seeufer und dort schwimmen. Das Hazs bietet alles, was man sich wünschen kann. Hervorzuheben ist ausserdem die unglaubliche Ruhe fern von technischen Geräuschen, nur Vögel, Wind und Wellen. Die Kommunikation mit Barb war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Sie war hilfsbereit und reagierte rasch auf unsere Anfragen. Schade, dass wir nach 6 Tagen abreisen mussten. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

We did not meet the hosts who were unexpectedly away and were redirected to Bird Cottage at no extra cost. Communication was great, the cottage ( a renovated old schoolhouse) was spacious,very peaceful, and had all the amenities we needed. Clean and comfortable and light breakfast provided. Beautiful outlook and a great spot to break a long journey

Like Philippa stated when villa finishes renovation it definitely looks grand and posh. But still loved interiors tastefully decorated furniture and personal touches. All of us enjoyed something different than normal air b&b experience. Thanks
