El Appartamento se encuantra a 11km de la Entrada del Parque Nacional J.A. Bermudez (Pico Duarte). Se recomienda transporte privado para moverse, y preparativos para excursiones al Pico Duarte. Hay tambien muchas opciones de paseos en la zona rural con Saltos de Agua y Balnearios.
