Experience Civil War History from a Luxury Mansion

The Mississippi Belle is truly the gem of Vicksburg! The host has truly thought of every little detail to make your stay of the highest quality. When we arrived, there were flowers waiting on the kitchen island and the kitchen was fully stocked with all the amenities to cook and enjoy a morning coffee. The house is immaculately clean and the attention to detail in the bedrooms is unparalleled. There are table fans in each bedroom as well as the finest linens to help you get the best sleep possible. You will feel relaxed and refreshed after a fantastic night’s sleep. The sheriff station is located directly next door in the historical Civil War jail so we felt safe at all times and were able to really enjoy the grounds of the home. Sunsets on the front porch are exceptional and the rocking chairs and blue porch ceiling truly take you back in time to the Old South. If you are looking for the perfect southern mansion to enjoy the rich history of Vicksburg, then this is the place to stay!

Our second stay with Jacqueline. She is a great host, responds quickly and again solved a problem of my creation, and we loved the property. Well equipped and clean. Will definitely look to stay here again on our next trip to Vicksburg.

Gallery Loft Rooftop Terrace with Elevator

What a lovely loft. The amazing art collection with original pieces by the Owner make this Loft unique and very interesting. Well appointed and clean. The rooftop terrace is a great place to hang out. And, the location puts you close to nice restaurant selections and shopping opportunities. Great place to stay in the Brick District of Vicksburg.

We had a gathering of 3 families with lots of young children. The home is roomy, comfortable, and had all the amenities we wanted (even baby gates and a great assortment of toys and activities for outdoors and indoors). Plenty of bathrooms and beds, private areas and gathering areas. 2 refrigerators, and did i mention lots of room? The lake is beautiful and quite a few fish were caught. The hosts have done a fabulous job with this home.

Zack’s place is 5 star! Beautiful decorated and comfortable! And so close to amazing restaurants and interesting museums and the military park. Perfect location! Zack was quick to respond to any question we had. Perhaps the best thing was the lady across the street greeting us from her porch each morning with “Good Morning” and a big friendly smile 😃 . We hope to come back.

Cozy Lake Front Home

This was a really cozy spot for my family to celebrate Christmas. Plenty of room for everyone to sit in the living/dining room. It’s a big place and the outdoor space is spacious as well. The sunsets are beautiful. We will consider coming back for sure.

Contemporary Downtown Apartment on Washington St.

Great stay in Vicksburg at well located Apartment in centre of town. Everything as described and great communication with host. Only minor issue from our perspective was that main bedroom was at front of Apartment (with large windows) and external street lighting meant that room was not as dark as we are used to at night.

Really cool location in a history rich location. The air bnb could be more decorated with stuff about the city but non the less a nice place to stay right in the heart of Downtown Vicksburg. Tyler was responsive and helpful when answering any of my questions.

Vacation Home - Shop & Dine in Downtown Vicksburg!

We spent a nice weekend at Elizabeth’s place. Her directions were easy to follow for parking and getting into the unit. The unit is upstairs and is one of 4 in the building. The unit was spotless and recently renovated. It was comfortable and just right for 4 adults. The king beds were cozy and I loved the shower. It is on one of the main streets, is very walkable, and close to many of Vicksburg’s tourist attractions and restaurants. We would stay here again!

All the reviews are correct. This is a great place to say. Well equipped kitchen for those who want/like to cook. We had a heating issue (completely our fault) and I contacted Jacqueline about it. She was able to take care of it remotely in no time. She followed up with a message through the app and the called me a day later to make sure everything was still ok. This really is a nice place to stay with an even nicer host. Would definitely stay again.

Duff Green Suite - The Duff Green Mansion

What an amazing experience to share with our kids! We got to share a huge suite with all our kiddos and enjoy a fancy breakfast the next morning. Harley is an amazing story teller and had us all mesmerized with the details of the Duff Green and Mary Green house!

The house is thoroughly cared for by Nicole. The purple room was perfectly set up to comfortably stay while exploring the area. An added charm was a visit by a cat outside the upstairs window for a brief conversation.

This cottage stay was perfect for me & my 2 children for 3 nights. Pictures do not do justice to how charming this house is ~ if you have an appreciation for old homes, this one is captivating! The neighborhood is quiet, just minutes from restaurants, coffee shops, historic downtown, etc. We would absolutely stay here again!

If you are looking for a clean, peaceful place, look no further. Tracey keeps this place in pristine condition, and they are very responsive. You won't be disappointed. It's a beautiful place. And did I mention it was very clean?
