“LaBoDee”, a fun play on the word abode, house, is a tiny cottage located central to CT’s unique shoreline communities, just off I95. “LaBoDee” is one room with a fully equipped kitchenette, ready for those who would like to stay awhile. “LaBoDee” is on a property contiguous to a state forest (a trail is right outside the door) yet within walking distance is a delicious deli, market, gas station, pizza, a lake, and close by is the beach. A local restaurant has day passes for their beach- $20!!

Early 1900s Log Cabin at Rogers Lake - Suite Style

Authentic historical log cabin built in the early 1900's. It's easy to spend hours just taking in the amazing detail and character this cabin has to offer. Meticulously decorated with new furnishings, a perfect blend of camping and suite-style lodging (while in comfort, with new AC & heating system). Welcome to Smuggler’s Cove Cottage. Rumor has it that this quaint cottage was once the scene of infamous rum running. Today, it’s our little slice of heaven away from the chaotic city life. It’s the perfect place to curl up and read a book by the fire when it’s chilly out. During the warmer months, take full advantage of the spacious waterfront patio & docks. Whether you’re sunbathing or having a drink watching the local geese and ducks float by, this tranquil cottage has everything you need.

Amazing sunrises and colorful sunsets. The location and amenities make for a fantastic romantic getaway for two! Centrally located 30 minutes from the Mohegan Casino.

Unique apartment in former art gallery.

The apartment is private and in a separate wing of a converted factory complex which includes an owner occupied building and artist studio in a quiet residential neighborhood. One bedroom on the ground floor with full bath nearby. The other bedroom is in the loft with queen bed with a daybed in the sitting area for two extra guests. We gladly welcome clean, well behaved pets. ($50 pet fee) Pet sitting and dog walking available for an additional fee. On site babysitting also available.

Penny Corner Airbnb

My place is located up the hill from Good Speed Opera House. The Opera House is on the same side of the river as my place. The folklore is that vacationers used to pay a penny to have their belongings transported by ox and wagon from the port at the river to this corner. A two family home built in 1884. The space is a ground level 1 bedroom apartment with private entrance. There is no TV in the unit, WIFI is available for your devices.
