Guesthouse Farm Stay

Come stay with us on our historic working farm! Relax on the back deck and enjoy views of our 12-acre property and peaceful pastures. For a more hands-on experience, join us for a tour to get a closer look at life on the farm. Established in 1739, our farm has a rich history in agriculture and livestock. The cozy studio-style cottage features an open living space with combined bedroom, living, and dining area, along with a kitchenette and bathroom with a shower for your comfort and convenience.

New! “LaBoDee”

“LaBoDee”, a fun play on the word abode, house, is a tiny cottage located central to CT’s unique shoreline communities, just off I95. “LaBoDee” is one room with a fully equipped kitchenette, ready for those who would like to stay awhile. “LaBoDee” is on a property contiguous to a state forest (a trail is right outside the door) yet within walking distance is a delicious deli, market, gas station, pizza, a lake, and close by is the beach. A local restaurant has day passes for their beach- $20!!

Water Forest Retreat -Octagon

Water Forest retreat is a very private 122ft.² electrified and heated cedar octagon next to a brook on 56 acres of forest with a pond, waterfall, marsh and hiking trails. Cozy up in this quiet comfortable space while listening to Goldmine brook while you sleep. Fire pit, heated outhouse with composting toilet, outdoor dining area, brook, pond and trail head are just steps away. We also have a TREE HOUSE and HIKER’S HAVEN house by the brook. The Village Loft: UNIQUE 1 BDRM W/ PRIVATE DECK

Located in charming downtown Chester, our loft rests above the newly established Village Bistro; with the loft being situated above our restaurant and on Main Street please keep in mind that you may hear some background noise during normal business hours. Additionally, you will be staying in a 200-year-old structure so there is some quirkiness that goes along with an aged building such as ours but rest assured you will feel right at home in this cozy, warm, historic space.

Storybook 2 Bedroom Cottage

Enjoy a relaxing stay at this charming storybook home which has just been refreshed professionally and redesigned with unique and gorgeous antique furnishings and decor. Built in 1895, the home was re-envisioned by designer Charles Spada in the 90’s. A lovely private back yard with beautiful stone work and plantings. The proximity to shopping, galleries, restaurants and Old Saybrook, Town Beach and Katherine Hepburn theater makes this location ideal.

The Cottage

Step into a piece of history with this charming, fully converted 1930s changing house. Ideally located, it’s just a short stroll to downtown or a scenic bike ride to the beach, putting the best of the area right at your doorstep. Inside, you’ll discover a thoughtfully designed studio layout, offering the perfect setting for a peaceful getaway. The Cottage seamlessly blends comfort, convenience, and character, creating a truly inviting retreat.

Penny Corner Airbnb

My place is located up the hill from Good Speed Opera House. The Opera House is on the same side of the river as my place. The folklore is that vacationers used to pay a penny to have their belongings transported by ox and wagon from the port at the river to this corner. A two family home built in 1884. The space is a ground level 1 bedroom apartment with private entrance. There is no TV in the unit, WIFI is available for your devices.

The Coolest Airbnb in Connecticut (Conde Nast Traveler 2021) The barn is a perfect retreat. Ideal for those looking to take a break from city life or those working remotely. Would also make for a lovely place to call home while you are selling or renovating your own home. Couples, two good friends, singles, or a family with an older child will enjoy the configuration. It will also make for a lovely getaway for a couple with a newborn.

Great location- 1 mile to the beach, 1/2 mile to shops and restaurants, and less than a 1/4 mile to a park! The house is set back from the road with a good size driveway. The inside is newly renovated and we are working to finish the yard area for the summer! The house has WiFi, large yard, and a great front porch that gets a ton of sun. We’ve made great memories there over the years and are now looking to share it with others!
